GBBackground Check could be fixed in 5 minutes, it's been weeks Messed up my background check, they mixed up my name (a very common name) with someone with a completely different middle name, date of birth and address, they did this for 10 different records. This can be fixed via internet search of court records, takes literally 5 minutes. It's been weeks now and they have not done anything to resolve the dispute I filed. They say they need faxes (yes like a physical fax machine copy) from each of the courts instead of just looking up the records themselves - something literally anyone can do on the internet.

NLHorrible customer service Horrible customer service, user interface and experience for employees! They don't update the status but ask you for a bunch of data. I have been screened a few times before, another platform that was called Validata did my previous background check and they did inform me throughout the process what has been verified, how long i should wait and so on. But HireRight's customer service does not help but just pasted answers from a protocol..

GBHireRight completely botched my… HireRight completely botched my background check. The company that I CURRENTLY work for was acquired by a larger group but remained under the same name. This information was provided to HireRight and they still completed my background showing a 5 year gap work discrepancy. No geniuses I still work for the same company only the ownership group changed. When verifying my education they contacted a school in Ohio. I have never even visited a state that touches Ohio much less gone to school there. If I could give the company less stars I certainly would as this has impacted me financially. The new company I was suppose to start with has pushed my hire date back until these geniuses can figure out what they are doing.

GBHighly intrusive and feels untrustworthy Highly intrusive, no explanation about why the data is needed, although it invites you to obscure unnecessary data, whatever that means. Company would not respond to enquiry because they said my email, which is the one they first contacted me on, is not verified. They contacted my current employer and then asked me for exactly the same data because the employer had not responded within a day, so that was duplication of effort.

GBNo stars I'd give no stars if that were an option. They take forever to process the background checks, blame the counties for the delays, say they'll expedite the request when you ask about it, and still not be finished with the report weeks later.
