The absolute worst! Surely they can do better! I would give a zero stars if I could. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The chat function is a total waste of time. Chatting to them is like pulling teeth, you have to wait an age for an agent to be assigned only to be told we cannot share your OWN information with you because and I quote “that is their policy and it will not change”. I have waited for this background check for an age - all the while I have time sensitive matters to attend to with my current employer and they are delaying the process. This has been the worst experience of my life by far. The amount of anxiety one has to deal with while waiting for this company to finalise a background check is disgusting! By far the worst screening company I have ever had to deal with! They cannot answer simple questions like what stage your background check is at. They evade all your questions by just parroting the same textbook answers. This company is beyond incompetent! At this point my start date will definitely get pushed back - that is clear from all the reviews I have read. They are absolutely terrible! They need to get their acts together and begin to provide a far better experience for candidates!

Highly intrusive and feels untrustworthy Highly intrusive, no explanation about why the data is needed, although it invites you to obscure unnecessary data, whatever that means. Company would not respond to enquiry because they said my email, which is the one they first contacted me on, is not verified. They contacted my current employer and then asked me for exactly the same data because the employer had not responded within a day, so that was duplication of effort.

Absolutely the worst Absolutely the worst. I'm a rehire and this company has been working on my file for three weeks. I'm very responsive to request,it's my future. I had my Hazmat and twic card faster. Not sure why a compound switch from Sterling to this one. I feel like I'm in a dehydrator turning in to unemployment beef jerky.

Incompetent Researchers The reps or researchers they have are incompetent. I have provided every bit of information, including telephone numbers, and W-2, I even paid for my employment verification report to send to them to help with a verification and yet they still have no clue. Researchers are still asking for the same documents they acknowledged receiving. One and a half hours of holding time to speak to someone shows they are overworked and don't care.

The worst company ever you go through… The worst company ever you go through background check. HireRight hired third world country India for American Citizens background checks. Very shameful. They cannot speak proper English nor they understand American system. I have been waiting 29 days only for my education to get verified. Every time I call them, I have to repeat myself 5 times and or have them repeat themselves 5 times. Very cheap and unprofessional. HireRight should do better job for the U.S citizens than this. HireRight should hire people at lease speak English, and explain them their job description before they interact with customers. I would ask Guy P. Abramo, Chief Executive Officer to focus on this and treat U.S citizens better than this.
