GBHighly intrusive and feels untrustworthy Highly intrusive, no explanation about why the data is needed, although it invites you to obscure unnecessary data, whatever that means. Company would not respond to enquiry because they said my email, which is the one they first contacted me on, is not verified. They contacted my current employer and then asked me for exactly the same data because the employer had not responded within a day, so that was duplication of effort.

GBHireRight completely botched my… HireRight completely botched my background check. The company that I CURRENTLY work for was acquired by a larger group but remained under the same name. This information was provided to HireRight and they still completed my background showing a 5 year gap work discrepancy. No geniuses I still work for the same company only the ownership group changed. When verifying my education they contacted a school in Ohio. I have never even visited a state that touches Ohio much less gone to school there. If I could give the company less stars I certainly would as this has impacted me financially. The new company I was suppose to start with has pushed my hire date back until these geniuses can figure out what they are doing.

GBAbsolutely horrible company to deal… Absolutely horrible company to deal with. Nothing but bureaucratic dystopian nightmare. Won't do their job, push all the work off on you, refuse to cooperate in any way just endless circles of nothing. Honestly if a company uses them I would walk away, they aren't worth dealing with unless your offered some major money. Update: after multiple escalations a competent person from Hireright reached out and resolved the problem. Use the chat feature and just keep escalating, go beyond the escalation team, they're useless. Then request an email and a call from the someone above escalations and they will be able to get things moving. Everyone below them is either a bot or does not understand english as a first language and gives conflicting information all the while trying to deny everything.

GBI have been waiting on Hireright for a… I have been waiting on Hireright for a solid month now. Was supposed to start a job on March 14th but we are still waiting on Hireright. I have called several times. First they needed more info from my past empliyment, so I sent check stubs, W2s and tax transcripts. Then it was my MVR report, now thats updated. Now they are analyzing my urine from a drug screen that I PASSED on Feb 23! How long can someone possibly analyze urine??!!!! I called on March 15th and they claim the lab has my specimin in the final stages!!! They are a terribke service and would not recommend them to ANYONE. I have been out of work this whole time planning on starting on the 14th, now who knows if they will EVER get done with it. Ridiculous!

GBDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am begging HR managers to avoid this company at all costs. You will have to do all the work, uploading semantic documents as their policies are so rigid with what they can/cannot accept. They will call you at all hours of the night requesting more documentation (due to being based in the US and having no regard for where you yourself are based.) Absolutely dreadful experience, they have massively delayed my start date for a new job.
