GBI started background check on 1/20/2024… I started background check on 1/20/2024 with initial estimated completion date of late January which came and passed. I also had a start date of 2/19 which has came and went as well ! I’m waiting one court clearance from Clark county. On 89 percent complete for weeks . I have contacted hire right several times with no resolve! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a background check . My hiring company is waiting for word and can’t start me until complete.

GBAbsolutely the worst Absolutely the worst. I'm a rehire and this company has been working on my file for three weeks. I'm very responsive to request,it's my future. I had my Hazmat and twic card faster. Not sure why a compound switch from Sterling to this one. I feel like I'm in a dehydrator turning in to unemployment beef jerky.

GBSelf Serve Background checks Like many others have said - be ready to preform your OWN background check. Isn't it their job to validate you worked where you say you did? They immediatly come back with "Cannot verify your employment". I doubt they even tried. They rather have you submit what you can to prove you worked there rather than to do their job. I supplied them with W2's and everything, still cant verify my employment. Why are they asking for companies i worked for EIGHT Years ago?! What does previous employment even have to do with a criminal background check? I already got the job... Bunch of data mining thieves.

GBAbsolutely disgusting This has got to be the worst background check company in existence. I was originally supposed to start a job at the beginning of March but my starting date was delayed due to the pending background check. The background check has not progressed in almost 2 months now as it is now 4/19/24 and the background check is still "80% complete" just as it was a month ago. This is surely a made up number by an incompetent company. I have called them about 7 times in the past month and a half and each time I speak to an Indian person with a thick accent and cannot understand probably "80%" of the words that are coming out of their mouths. The last couple of times that I have called, they have asked me, "would you like to expedite the background check?" ....... uh, YES? I HAVE TO ASK FOR THAT? ARE YOU JOKING? I am without income as a result for almost 2 months. It is a miracle I have a roof over my head still. In this day and age when many people are living paycheck to paycheck this is absolutely disgusting. Many other people less fortunate than I would be out of a home and on the streets by now. After requesting the check to be "expedited" I was told to wait 48 hours. Wait 48 hours for what? I don't know because I could not understand the Indian on the other end of the line. 48 hours passed, then 72, then a week and a half with silence. My next conversation with them went the same as I once again "expedited" something with another barely understandable phone rep from India. To say that I am absolutely livid is an understatement of understatements, not only with hire right but with my prospective employer who decided to save a few bucks by going with such a pathetic and incompetent background check company. I know I am basically just shouting into the void by typing this out and that nothing will come of it. This company will continue to disrupt and damage people's lives like this with no repercussion. Incoming template response from the sad excuse for a company in question!

GBThe worst company ever you go through… The worst company ever you go through background check. HireRight hired third world country India for American Citizens background checks. Very shameful. They cannot speak proper English nor they understand American system. I have been waiting 29 days only for my education to get verified. Every time I call them, I have to repeat myself 5 times and or have them repeat themselves 5 times. Very cheap and unprofessional. HireRight should do better job for the U.S citizens than this. HireRight should hire people at lease speak English, and explain them their job description before they interact with customers. I would ask Guy P. Abramo, Chief Executive Officer to focus on this and treat U.S citizens better than this.
