I started background check on 1/20/2024… I started background check on 1/20/2024 with initial estimated completion date of late January which came and passed. I also had a start date of 2/19 which has came and went as well ! I’m waiting one court clearance from Clark county. On 89 percent complete for weeks . I have contacted hire right several times with no resolve! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a background check . My hiring company is waiting for word and can’t start me until complete.

The worst company ever you go through… The worst company ever you go through background check. HireRight hired third world country India for American Citizens background checks. Very shameful. They cannot speak proper English nor they understand American system. I have been waiting 29 days only for my education to get verified. Every time I call them, I have to repeat myself 5 times and or have them repeat themselves 5 times. Very cheap and unprofessional. HireRight should do better job for the U.S citizens than this. HireRight should hire people at lease speak English, and explain them their job description before they interact with customers. I would ask Guy P. Abramo, Chief Executive Officer to focus on this and treat U.S citizens better than this.

HireRight completely botched my… HireRight completely botched my background check. The company that I CURRENTLY work for was acquired by a larger group but remained under the same name. This information was provided to HireRight and they still completed my background showing a 5 year gap work discrepancy. No geniuses I still work for the same company only the ownership group changed. When verifying my education they contacted a school in Ohio. I have never even visited a state that touches Ohio much less gone to school there. If I could give the company less stars I certainly would as this has impacted me financially. The new company I was suppose to start with has pushed my hire date back until these geniuses can figure out what they are doing.

Worst onboarding experience EVER! I can not put into words the level of incompetence displayed by this company. I have been in the corporate world for almost 30 years and gone through background checks / screenings many times. At most it has taken 2 - 3 days each time. This dumpster fire of a company has dragged things out over a week....Just to accept all my documents and forms! That's not even the actual background check. That will take anywhere from 13 hours to FIFTEEN additional business days. Absolutely ludicrous and has resulted in me having to push back the start date of my hire. Why any company would chose to partner with this place is beyond me.

Incompetent Researchers The reps or researchers they have are incompetent. I have provided every bit of information, including telephone numbers, and W-2, I even paid for my employment verification report to send to them to help with a verification and yet they still have no clue. Researchers are still asking for the same documents they acknowledged receiving. One and a half hours of holding time to speak to someone shows they are overworked and don't care.
