GBBeen a customer for several years Been a customer for several years. Monthly charge goes up without notice. Cannot get anyone to assist. When I call Paychex Sales, a person is available. Paychex will service NEW Customers, just not existing ones. When I got a Salesperson on the phone and told him why I was calling he actually laughed out loud that I called Sales and said there was nothing he could do. He refused to contact internal Paychex Rep to assist. This is a terrible company.

GBNot great but not horrible Began using this week about 3 weeks ago. The company I recently get hired for uses Paychex as their 3rd party one-stop-shop. Time cards / payrolls / sick / vacation hours / tax tops / and even External tools like FinFit. As my experience has neither been horrible or great I’m neutral at this point because this app was only pushed upon me by my employers to get all Employees on one platform. Hopefully this app gets some kind of universal integration with a majority of the banks. Such as Zelle to better see where it can serve a purpose in banking / finance

GBFirst week in Paychex for our new… First week in Paychex for our new business. Bank recommended Paychexso our thought was, must be reliable. First week in. Overcharged five times. Should have done a review of the reviews. Ive never seen such poor reviews. We are pulling our business to a payroll service company with a better reputation. Seems to be one step up from a scam. Update Apri 8th. Sent complaint to Paychex with full info as they mention after every “truthful” review. Guess what? Absolutely NO RESPONSE.

GBAs a former employee As a former employee, and someone who worked for a company that used Paychex at one time, I can explain why the service is so bad. I was a computer operator, which means I ran payroll and all related paperwork, ran the printers, folding machines, stuffed envelopes, printed quarterly tax documents which took all weekend, and ran special reports. It was a very fast paced environment. Operators also had to help the ladies who manually stuffed envelopes. Our equipment was very old and very overworked. We had breakdowns almost daily, which would back up printing and cause more delays. Upper management refused to give us new equipment. Starting pay was $11/hr during the financial crisis. Even my manager said the company doesn't pay close to what it should. I quit after 6 months. I've seen my exact same job again 7 and 10 years later. It went from $11 to $14 to $17. That's an insult. Underpaid, management flat out didn't care, old worn out equipment they refused to upgrade, all because corporate wanted more profit. How else is the CEO going to get his huge bonus and pay off his third house? My manager admitted he had a high turnover for all these reasons. Our internet time was heavily monitored. I understand we are not there to play around, but we are human and need a break sometimes. Instead we were expected to research the company, products, history, milestones, and where they are going. I made $11/hr, I don't care, I'm here to get paid. So these are some of the reasons you get bad service. Look at what they pay and how employees are treated. Would you put in full effort for low pay? Even to this day, the company pays below market rates. I'm very happy I don't work here anymore. Low pay, management only cares about money, not employees or customers.

GBIf I could leave zero stars I would If I could leave zero stars I would. I have emailed my service reps on a constant basis letting them know I am not getting the services I pay for, The checks arrive torn, wrinkled and completely unprofessional. My emails are never returned and Im still being charged weekly. Still waiting for a cost breakdown and I get a refusal to give me the pricing. Communication, customer service and product are at an all time low.
