GBThis has to be the worst payroll… This has to be the worst payroll company in existence. Not only do they explain nothing when you set things up, they provide terrible customer service and guidance. They also did my taxes wrong and a received a bill from the IRS due to their incompetence. Do not recommend.

GBPaychex files your State and Federal… Paychex files your State and Federal taxes intermittently and next time you knowing, you have already incurred penalties and interests in thousands. When you call Sales Rep and Supervisors, it goes to voicemail ALL the time. Paychex is not reliable AT ALL , to me it's an induced HEART ATTACK and heart aches every month. I'm still dealing with the 4th quarter 2021 that is not filed with IRS ( can you imagine the interest and penalties). We have changed EIN effective November 2021. The 2021, 2022 up to 3rd quarter of 2023, it was never changed....as simple as that. State calls every month re: delinquent taxes and taxes were pulled out of our account --on some. We lost track of too many delinquent taxes that we have to deal with. NO amount of money can exchange the stress we are going through.

GBPaychex flex is a horrible system Paychex flex is a horrible system. It is tied directly to the company and if you use it for 401K you will no longer have access to your money once you leave the company. Attempting to reach them is difficult. You can plan to be on the phone for 1-2 hours as they hang up on you, transfer you, or just have no idea how to help. Once you leave a company, your access is terminated immediately. They will repeatedly ask for your login information and then say you have no account making it even more difficult to access your money. It has been a month and I am still attempting to get my 401K rolled over with no hope in sight.

GBAs a former employee As a former employee, and someone who worked for a company that used Paychex at one time, I can explain why the service is so bad. I was a computer operator, which means I ran payroll and all related paperwork, ran the printers, folding machines, stuffed envelopes, printed quarterly tax documents which took all weekend, and ran special reports. It was a very fast paced environment. Operators also had to help the ladies who manually stuffed envelopes. Our equipment was very old and very overworked. We had breakdowns almost daily, which would back up printing and cause more delays. Upper management refused to give us new equipment. Starting pay was $11/hr during the financial crisis. Even my manager said the company doesn't pay close to what it should. I quit after 6 months. I've seen my exact same job again 7 and 10 years later. It went from $11 to $14 to $17. That's an insult. Underpaid, management flat out didn't care, old worn out equipment they refused to upgrade, all because corporate wanted more profit. How else is the CEO going to get his huge bonus and pay off his third house? My manager admitted he had a high turnover for all these reasons. Our internet time was heavily monitored. I understand we are not there to play around, but we are human and need a break sometimes. Instead we were expected to research the company, products, history, milestones, and where they are going. I made $11/hr, I don't care, I'm here to get paid. So these are some of the reasons you get bad service. Look at what they pay and how employees are treated. Would you put in full effort for low pay? Even to this day, the company pays below market rates. I'm very happy I don't work here anymore. Low pay, management only cares about money, not employees or customers.

GBGarbage company Garbage company. Can't get a hold of your rep. they continuously mess up and do not issue checks when suppose to causing my employees to get upset. they constantly switch out your rep every month or so, clearly they cannot retain employees which is a big part of the problem Im sure. Stay away from paychecks go elsewhere.
