HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!!! To many departments, no one knows what they are doing there, easier to figure it out for yourself as these untrained employees will drive you crazy!

Paychex files your State and Federal… Paychex files your State and Federal taxes intermittently and next time you knowing, you have already incurred penalties and interests in thousands. When you call Sales Rep and Supervisors, it goes to voicemail ALL the time. Paychex is not reliable AT ALL , to me it's an induced HEART ATTACK and heart aches every month. I'm still dealing with the 4th quarter 2021 that is not filed with IRS ( can you imagine the interest and penalties). We have changed EIN effective November 2021. The 2021, 2022 up to 3rd quarter of 2023, it was never changed....as simple as that. State calls every month re: delinquent taxes and taxes were pulled out of our account --on some. We lost track of too many delinquent taxes that we have to deal with. NO amount of money can exchange the stress we are going through.

As a former employee As a former employee, and someone who worked for a company that used Paychex at one time, I can explain why the service is so bad. I was a computer operator, which means I ran payroll and all related paperwork, ran the printers, folding machines, stuffed envelopes, printed quarterly tax documents which took all weekend, and ran special reports. It was a very fast paced environment. Operators also had to help the ladies who manually stuffed envelopes. Our equipment was very old and very overworked. We had breakdowns almost daily, which would back up printing and cause more delays. Upper management refused to give us new equipment. Starting pay was $11/hr during the financial crisis. Even my manager said the company doesn't pay close to what it should. I quit after 6 months. I've seen my exact same job again 7 and 10 years later. It went from $11 to $14 to $17. That's an insult. Underpaid, management flat out didn't care, old worn out equipment they refused to upgrade, all because corporate wanted more profit. How else is the CEO going to get his huge bonus and pay off his third house? My manager admitted he had a high turnover for all these reasons. Our internet time was heavily monitored. I understand we are not there to play around, but we are human and need a break sometimes. Instead we were expected to research the company, products, history, milestones, and where they are going. I made $11/hr, I don't care, I'm here to get paid. So these are some of the reasons you get bad service. Look at what they pay and how employees are treated. Would you put in full effort for low pay? Even to this day, the company pays below market rates. I'm very happy I don't work here anymore. Low pay, management only cares about money, not employees or customers.

We were backed into a corner to find a… We were backed into a corner to find a payroll co. after Covid and have completely regretted ever since. The customer service cue is priority and not your Co. payroll issues. Multiple background software problems leaving employees with incorrecr, or just plain without payroll, and in turn, gaslight you regarding it, with of course a fee to fix things. Sadly requires far more management than doing it yourself. Turnover appears high, and assigned account specialist is not available any longer, but, trust us, there is zero shortage of sales people calling for add on services. Listen to your accountant and choose other platforms.

Not great but not horrible Began using this week about 3 weeks ago. The company I recently get hired for uses Paychex as their 3rd party one-stop-shop. Time cards / payrolls / sick / vacation hours / tax tops / and even External tools like FinFit. As my experience has neither been horrible or great I’m neutral at this point because this app was only pushed upon me by my employers to get all Employees on one platform. Hopefully this app gets some kind of universal integration with a majority of the banks. Such as Zelle to better see where it can serve a purpose in banking / finance
