When another car renting agency refused… When another car renting agency refused to return my calls and emails I turned to the tried and true. Drivo. For the past two years I've only rented from them at Laguardia and Newark. I've been greeted enthusiastically and assured that my needs would be met. My last rental my plane was late but Shaun at Newark was able to not only to get me a car but an upgrade as well. He remembered to credit my 10% discount and helped load luggage. He also gave a warm welcome on my return. Great customer service.

Be careful of these guys Be careful of these guys! They can promise you to charge one amount per day for extra zone before you take a car and finally charge much more! I told them about this they said don’t worry, we’ll fix it and they didn’t! I spent more time to come there and try to fix the problem and they said that’s correct! They didn’t give me paper evidence of our agreement! Newer recommend!!!

Great value and upgrade I had a great experience with Drivo this past weekend. Shaun was super helpful and provided a free upgrade as a nice bonus. I was satisfied with their prices and paid exactly what I expected to per my estimate in the agreement. Drop-off was very seamless once I made it to the location. Newark traffic, in general, is bad so give yourself plenty of time. I was 30 mins late from my expected drop-off due to +45 mins of unexpected standstill traffic a few miles away, but wasn't charged extra which was a relief.

Insurance Fraud I rented a car from their LGA location and drove it for 3 days. When you pick up the vehicle they will take pictures indoors under poor incandescent lighting. A week after I returned the car, I received an insurance claim for damages. The pictures they supplied, also taken under that same lighting, showed nothing obvious. I referred the claim to my insurance company and they rejected the claim as attempted fraud. They also tried to overcharge my credit card and were again rejected by my bank.
