GBThis is the worst car rental agency ever! When we arrived at Drivo, 408 Carnegie Ave., Newark, NJ from Newark airport, we had to take your shuttle bus. I had to wait 30 minutes for the bus then I had to stand in line for 45 minutes because the person in front of me was arguing with your employee about quoting him one price and changing it when he got there. I had registered online, had my paperwork in front of me and was about to him my license and credit card. I showed him my license and he said I was too old to rent a car. I asked if they would take me to another car rental place, but they said they would only take us back to the airport. the shuttle driver dropped us at the airport in the pouring rain and we were able to rent a car at a reputable car rental agency that had no age limit, you just had to have a legal license. When I got to my destination, I discovered right on their website the age limit was 80 and my husband is only 77. Therefore this would be considered age discrimination. We will never rent a car from them again and nobody else should either! I'm thinking of suing them.

GBInsurance Fraud I rented a car from their LGA location and drove it for 3 days. When you pick up the vehicle they will take pictures indoors under poor incandescent lighting. A week after I returned the car, I received an insurance claim for damages. The pictures they supplied, also taken under that same lighting, showed nothing obvious. I referred the claim to my insurance company and they rejected the claim as attempted fraud. They also tried to overcharge my credit card and were again rejected by my bank.

GBGreat value and upgrade I had a great experience with Drivo this past weekend. Shaun was super helpful and provided a free upgrade as a nice bonus. I was satisfied with their prices and paid exactly what I expected to per my estimate in the agreement. Drop-off was very seamless once I made it to the location. Newark traffic, in general, is bad so give yourself plenty of time. I was 30 mins late from my expected drop-off due to +45 mins of unexpected standstill traffic a few miles away, but wasn't charged extra which was a relief.

CABrakes were awful and poor customer service Unfortunately Drivo or ACE fits the saying: you get what you pay for! Lesson learned from me. 1) the place is external to EWR so takes longer to get there from P4 a shuttle is needed. Don’t go to Terminal A where most other rental are 2) customer service is lower than average, they don’t even have a restroom in that facility 3) the car I got while it drove fine the brakes (rotors) needed fixing, every time I hit the brakes steering wheel was shaking! Due to timing I could not go back and get another car. So buyer beware.

GBF******G SCAM artists I have had awful experiences.. they are scam/con artists taking advantage of people who don't buy their insurance..they have falsely charged me for existing scratches to the car bumper. Please DO NOT rent a car from Drivo. YOU WILL get an accident report claiming you owe them over 2000 for someone else damage.
