This is the worst car rental agency ever! When we arrived at Drivo, 408 Carnegie Ave., Newark, NJ from Newark airport, we had to take your shuttle bus. I had to wait 30 minutes for the bus then I had to stand in line for 45 minutes because the person in front of me was arguing with your employee about quoting him one price and changing it when he got there. I had registered online, had my paperwork in front of me and was about to him my license and credit card. I showed him my license and he said I was too old to rent a car. I asked if they would take me to another car rental place, but they said they would only take us back to the airport. the shuttle driver dropped us at the airport in the pouring rain and we were able to rent a car at a reputable car rental agency that had no age limit, you just had to have a legal license. When I got to my destination, I discovered right on their website the age limit was 80 and my husband is only 77. Therefore this would be considered age discrimination. We will never rent a car from them again and nobody else should either! I'm thinking of suing them.

BEWARE!!! Update: 04/05/24 The dispute about the difference got resolved. Thank you! Just be careful, a very SHADY car rental. They prey on their customers, lure them in with their cheap prices and then hit them with hidden fees. They will have you sign several documents with fine prints that will haunt you afterwards. They said I had a scratch on the car above the right tire which was unnoticeable at the time of rental. When I returned the rental a day earlier, I was told I would not get any reimbursements and they had noticed a scratch. This seems a regular practice from Drivo-rent-a-car when reading reviews online. Their insurance company sent an inflated estimate to my insurance company. The scratch could have been buffed which is what my insurance company suggested. But their estimate included changing from the right door to the fender and having the rented car out of commission for 7 days. They milked my insurance company and then billed me the difference my insurance company disputed. No wonder Drivo-rent-a-car has fraudulent charges against them to resolve consumer fraud allegations. Never again will I rent a car again from Drivo-rent-a-car. I learned my lesson. BEWARE and do your homework when renting at Drivo-rent-a-car, check your rental car thoroughly and then jump in to take the risk. Popular travel websites should ban them from their sites because they sell a scam. ACE & FOX operate under Drivo-rent-a-car.

Drivo 1st time use The initial wait for the shuttle was over an hour. However, the agent provided an upgraded vehicle as well as expressed his sincere apologies. The customer service from there was open and explicit of all charges with no surprise costs. The vehicle was clean, modern and very fuel efficient. Overall good experience except for the shuttle pick up.

Hassel free pick up and return This was the first time I rented from DrivO and it has overall been a good experience. I had to pick up the car from JFK location, and their shuttle picked me up from the Rental Car pick up center. I returned the car at LaGuardia, which was even smoother. The airport is just across the road and they drop you to the airport - that makes things so much easier specially during evening rush hour. The car itself was clean, washed and tidy. A great experience overall.

Insurance Fraud I rented a car from their LGA location and drove it for 3 days. When you pick up the vehicle they will take pictures indoors under poor incandescent lighting. A week after I returned the car, I received an insurance claim for damages. The pictures they supplied, also taken under that same lighting, showed nothing obvious. I referred the claim to my insurance company and they rejected the claim as attempted fraud. They also tried to overcharge my credit card and were again rejected by my bank.
