Tire Buyer now coordinates with the installer. Tire Buyer has had competitive prices, good selection, and free delivery (quick too if you live close to a warehouse hub). But, they have stepped it up a notch by dialing in the installation process by incorporating that cost up front and confirming the schedule. In the past they lacked any coordination with the installer and you were likely to be hit with extra costs. Five stars for improving that critical last step.

Late shipments Purchased in-stock tires and installation. Company accepted payment immediately however did not ship the tires due to a 'technical glitch' and only after I called them a week later. Tires promised in a few days not delivered for 2 weeks and not in time for a planned road trip. Advise tracking order progress closely and reaching out immediately with any questions. Bad experience Have not had a good experience with Tirebuyer. First, my order was shipped late so I had to reschedule with one of their recommended installers, Pepboys. Then, Pepboys overbooked the day because their online scheduling system doesn’t work. I waited 4.5 hours to have my tires installed!! The kicker: TireBuyer knew about the scheduling issues with PepBoys and never did anything about it! No warning and still recommends them as an installer. Go with Tirerack.com instead and save yourself the hassle!!

Best tire buying experience short of… Best tire buying experience short of buying tires from the shop who will install them..I was looking for Ultra high performance tires so most shops don't carry them. Tirescanner had the tires in stock, had them cheaper than anyone else, and they were delivered for free within two days. Also I had an issue were I ordered the wrong size, so I called them, and they have great no hassle customer service!

The installer that was listed on the… The installer that was listed on the approved list of installers was horrible. The pep boys made my son wait over 5 hours yesterday and still didn't install the tires. Today we rescheduled and they said it would take all day. We finally got so frustrated we took the tires from them and had them installed at a discount tire.
