GBRotors Appear ok.... Pads terrible quality.. Beware! I Purchased New Rotors and Pads for my 2015 Subaru Forester.. Although the rotors appear to be ok, the pads are absolute junk!... They are very poor quality and that was immediately evident with the squeaking and grinding noise. I ended up replacing the pad with high quality Bosch Pads.

GBThey shipped me incorrect parts and… They shipped me incorrect parts and then charged me to ship them back. I didn't charge them when I had to drive into town and get the correct parts myself. It was very inconvenient as I had been dropped off and actually needed to drive the car I was repairing.

GBBought a front suspension for my truck… Bought a front suspension for my truck off Amazon, the seller was Detroit Axle in a matter of months the rubber parts drastically cracked on every single part. The parts were sold with a 10-year warranty. I tried to get in touch with them, called them several times, they do not want to honor the 10-year warranty. They have other good parts just not these front suspensions. Horrible customer service!

CHGreat customer support Updated review (March 22nd, 2023)... I just had the most amazing talk with a representative from the company Detroit Axel. A few weeks ago I had accidentally ordered the wrong set of rotors and brake pads from the Detroit Axel company, thru the Amazon website. And after realizing that the parts were not a perfect fit for my vehicle, i decided to return it. However, I was denied a refund (by amazon). But lucky for me, as soon as the company Detroit Axle became aware of my negative encounter with Amazon, they immediately tried to reach out to me via different platforms. Today I finally got the chance to speak with a representative from Detroit Axel, her name was Alexa. She was very professional and gave me the opportunity to express myself by listening to my side of the story. She made me feel very important. After listening to my story, and reviewing the case, she offered to refund me the money, opposing Amazon's decision. Thank you Alexa! (5 stars for u). I am very impress with the way Detroit Axel stand behind their products. Is very hard to find a company with decent prices and most importantly great customer support. Previous review (March 20th, 2023)... I'm a part time mechanic. And have purchased parts from Detroit Axle before. But lately my experience has been terrible. Detroit Axle started as a small aftermarket parts shop near the Rouge Plant in Dearborn, Michigan in 1990. They are popular for selling parts at moderate prices. But for the last few years the quality of their products have been deteriorating at a rapid pace, and their warranty is practically non exciting. On January 2023 I ordered a complete set of rotors and brake pads. Items arrived a few days late. After arrival I Installed it and then realized that the parts sent to me were not the right fit to my car. And to make things worst the brake pads arrived defective: The metal plate detached loose from the pad. Luckily for my experience I caught this flaw before driving away. Otherwise, it could had been my life or someone else's. After returning the set back, the seller (Detroit Axle) decided not to reimburse me. Because they claim that the parts were used. The only visual wear was created during the installation process. But the vehicle was NEVER driven. Not only did they not refund me the money, but they also decided to keep the returned parts. So I ended up with no money and no parts. It was a "win win" for them. Well played Detroit Axle, congratulations. The company DETROIT AXLE is currently been investigated by the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB). BBB is currently advertising Detroit Axle as a company with a grade "F". As of March 2023 Detroit Axle have received 228 legal complaints in the last 3 years. 58 complaints which happened within the last 12 months alone! I WOULD NOT recommend buying from this company just to save some money. I highly suggest to stay away. If you find yourself in a desperate situation and do decide to buy from Detroit Axle, please educate yourself and take all precautions before driving your vehicle.

GBAfter buying a front suspension rebuild… After buying a front suspension rebuild kit for my 2010 suburban, I can say 3 years into it both front wheels bearings have failed, an upper ball joint also, along with a tie rod end boot. It's not worth buying their substandard parts that don't last like OEM just to save a few bucks. When you have to do the work twice, there's little to no savings. Buy brand name or OEM parts instead of Detroit axles junk.
