GBWorse customer service ever Worse customer service ever. They tell you you'll get an email with tracking and when you don't and you call they make you feel stupid for not having an order number, I never got one! Then the customer service representative will tell you they don't have time to email it because the phones are very busy! Retrain those horrible representatives.

GBAvoid if you’re on a time crunch. Ordered front end suspension kit on 3/14. Website claims all orders will be shipped by 2pm the next business day. On 3/18, I get notification the kit has “shipped”, but on checking the tracking, it was just a generated label - nothing has actually shipped. Today, 3/20/24, fedex had still not received the package. I talked to representative Amy from Detroit Axle and was told that the item is not in stock and is being transferred to their Texas warehouse and would be another 3-5 days. No offer of quicker shipping. No explanation of why I wasn’t told a week ago that the parts weren’t actually in stock. This is absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this company if you’re on any sort of timeline as they do not care.

GBAfter buying a front suspension rebuild… After buying a front suspension rebuild kit for my 2010 suburban, I can say 3 years into it both front wheels bearings have failed, an upper ball joint also, along with a tie rod end boot. It's not worth buying their substandard parts that don't last like OEM just to save a few bucks. When you have to do the work twice, there's little to no savings. Buy brand name or OEM parts instead of Detroit axles junk.

GBDO NOT! DO NOT...... PURCHASE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! I purchased a pair of rear shock absorbers from parts geek for my 09 Focus. After installation I took off driving and they immediately failed within a minute 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬! I will (FOR NOW ON) pay attention to the reviews. Based on what I know, how is this company able to operate selling shotty defective parts? I mean, lives are on the line here! WTH Detroit Axle?

GBNew control arms with ball joints / No castle nuts or locking pins supplied Purchased a set of front control arms for a 2013 Honda Pilot. Quality is good, I'll give them that much. But, how do you sell control arms with pressed in ball joints without supplying a new castle nut & locking pin ? Also, how do you not include new control arm " stop bushings". This is all necessary parts for the SAFETY of the job. Detroitaxle said those parts are not included. WTH !!!! They gave me a paltry $ 10 buck refund. Lucky to get that. Had to order missing parts separately at a MUCH higher cost than $ 10 bucks. Was not going to re-use the old parts. Too dangerous. Advertisement never mentioned that these parts were " not included". Over 40 years as a mechanic.....never had control new control arms come without ALL needed parts. Lesson learned, the hard way. Time to sell my tools & pack it in. Too many sub-standard parts floating around. I'm not going to be responsible for the deaths of others due to sub-par auto parts. I lost money on this job, ( since I purchased new missing parts ). But I can sleep at night knowing the job was done right.
