Be ware of the honesty of sales personnel I Purchased a used Toyota sienna had asked the salesman to walk it and confirm that it was as clean as it looked on the photos and that the inside was OK. He got back to me and said that it was extremely clean in very good shape with no problems at all. When I got the van I had to sign off for quite a number of items that were damaged so that the delivery company wouldn’t get charged. There was rust on both sides that did not show on the pictures and was not told me by the salesman, inside the wiring for the attorney Chair is terribly frayed and will need to be replaced, I Called the salesman and ask him why he hadn’t told me about these things, he said well I never really was able to walk it because it was parked so closely between two other vans I couldn’t get to it so I just assumed it was OK. He had lied to me about his walk around. Also customer service is extremely poor as I asked him to have a manager called me and no one dead and I use their text link on the Website and did a chat with a chat link on the website and was told that someone would contact me, now after three weeks I still haven’t been contacted, poorest customer service of any I have ever experienced bar none.

Not terribly impressed Looking back, I wish I would have gone through a different company. The people were nice, and helpful when I asked, but... - they told me the car would take 2 months and it took nearly 5 - the car took so long, I had to re-apply for the loan... the second time around they wanted $2,000 additional down, and my interest rate was higher. -the car arrived with many scratches and nicks... it's a brand new car! -the cars interior was dirty upon arrival... running my fingers across the dash... black!!! - the car had no directions on how to use the locking system or tie down systems that were actually useful. It took me 3 hours to figure out the tie downs and I'm still unsure... I feel like they should provide a YouTube video link or something. -the guy who delivered it didn't check an ID or anything... the cars battery was dead when it got here!!! A lot more went wrong than right in my opinion.

We bought a Chevy Silverado 1500… We bought a Chevy Silverado 1500 conversion and it has been the biggest mistake ever. It went through quality control twice and still I have to keep fixing stuff. They glue the magnets on everything to work with the sensors and they keep falling off leaving us stuck wherever we are till I can get it fixed. It leaks air really bad cause the door doesn't seal right. The salesman tweaked the front fender before I left their parking lot with it, the fender needs to be replaced but all they did was realign it so there's a big gap and it sticks out a 1/4". I had spent a night there just so they could fix the door so it wouldn't hit the fender. Then after driving 9 hours home it didn't work and I had to take it 2 hours to the closest repair shop. I'm very dissatisfied with the truck and how ive been treated by them about it. This is my first negative comment I've made but I felt I needed to warn ours about these issues. I think we have to pay so much extra for these vehicles so we can enjoy life with our situations and we should get a high quality product in exchange.

Be very careful if you plan to purchase… Be very careful if you plan to purchase a vehicle Freedom Motors converted. We bought a new van from a Chicago dealer that was previously converted to make it handicap accessible This is a Kneevan with the rear manual ramp. While converting, they welded many plates very close to AC lines causing friction and wear over time. This was sloppy work resulting in a flawed product. It didn't happen overnight, but we've had issues with our rear air for years. I sent the photos documenting the damage and they are refusing to fix or pay to have this issue resolved. I am very sorry I bought a product they converted. Buyer beware!

Dishonesty and lack of follow up My 9 yr. old daughter is terminally ill and in a wheelchair. Recently our last wheelchair vehicle was totaled, and Freedom Motors had one that we liked and bought, and took delivery on 9/27/23. In fairness to them, there were good aspects of the experience – our salesperson Dominic was friendly and courteous, explaining things well and was communicative as the build process developed, which I appreciated. The process unfolded as he described, and the closing process was easy and completed quickly. And upon delivery, having not actually laid eyes on the vehicle yet, I was delighted that the quality of the mods appeared to be better than our last one (from another mfr.). So all of this was great, and until closing I would not have hesitated to recommend Freedom Motors to my friends, family, or the rare disease non-profit and community we work with. However…at closing I learned that I had been lied to. As we were evaluating vehicle options, we saw the MSRP on the one we eventually bought was $43,720 [from the factory; before any modification work]. Upon later selecting that vehicle, I was surprised to see that the asking price was $46,380 - $2,660 more than MSRP for a new vehicle already ~1 model year old. I asked about it and was told that FMI does not mark up the vehicles in their inventory, they do pass-through pricing on these and the company’s profit made is in the conversion. Further, due to the state of the car market, these vehicles (Palisades & Tellurides, specifically) had been selling above MSRP and that’s just what the market was, so I could take it or leave it. Although I didn’t love that, car valuations had been elevated post-Covid and the rest of the experience had been good, so I trusted them and accepted it at face value. Upon closing the deal and doing the title paperwork, I was upset to see in the original papers (from a dealer in Ohio) that the actual purchase price by FMI was only $42,396. So instead of passing through their purchase price as I was committed to, it was actually marked up from below MSRP that they paid to above MSRP for me – a $3,984 markup and more importantly they dishonestly did the exact opposite of what I was told. You can understand my disappointment and frustration at this ethical violation in business practice. Either my salesperson lied to me, or maybe he was lied to by his management and unknowingly passed on false information that he thought was true. Before I posted a review, I informed their customer service dept. on 10/10/23 to allow for a timely response as I understand that it’s impossible to know what every employee is doing at all times. Their Sales VP, Justin, called me to discuss it on 10/12/23 and left a voicemail. I called him back the very next day and left a message that was never returned. I followed up with a text on 10/20/23, which has also never been returned as of a week later. In sum, I would avoid dealing with anyone who deceives their customers then becomes unresponsive after they have your money. If you do choose to do business with them, beware of anything you are told and ensure you verify what you're told and get everything possible in writing.
