GBVery pleased customer For an 1996 vehicle with antique remote - I needed a replacement transmitter and searched all over the web. MotorCityRemotes had exactly what I needed and since ordering, I couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish - they were receptive, answered every question, and supplied a product that works perfectly. Thank you Motor City Remotes..

GBEmail support was not so great great, Telephone Support was Great. Telephone support was great, but email support was not their. But I'm happy with my Code Alarm System. Great Price and Works Great.

GBVERY PLEASED Really hard to put into words how pleased I actually am. I have installed hundreds of remote starts, keyless entries, and alarms over the years, and BY FAR... Going through motor city remotes was the best experience. The system came packaged very well, instructions were EXTREMELY easy to understand and follow, so much so my 16 year old son that has zero tech experience was able to do most the install completely by himself. The other OUTSTANDING thing is that they stand behind there product, and are always there to help over the phone or through e-mail with any questions day or night. There tech support is great - very knowledgeable.

GBHonesty goes a long way.. To this day I just use the alarm, but without flashing parking lights function, and, I've tried to turn on the arming chirps function, which is simple to do, but I believe they sent this to me without programming in a lot of the basic options. Then there is also the missing white wire that they kept insisting was there (for the parking lights) Like I'm so stupid, or I'm color blind. I have installed several alarms, and NEVER had a problem with any of them. I also tried to turn on the dome light timer function, as per the instructions, and THAT would not work either. Another feature I can't use because they did not program that option into the CPU before they sent it to me. I think they need to admit when they are wrong, or realize they make mistakes also. They had this attitude like, I was just a dumb customer, and they are always correct each time I spoke with them. NOTHING was resolved, so I just cut my losses. (Oh, since I could not use the dome light timer feature, I had to drill a hole in each door jamb and install a trigger switch, wired to the instant trigger wire for the hood, so the alarm would sound when a door was opened) otherwise I would have to stand there waiting for the dome light to go out, so I could arm the system. And they thought they were dealing with a clueless beginner, not quite. Yes, there are all these 5 star reviews on Trustpilot, about how wonderful MotorCityRemotes is.These people are fortunate, and lucky that they did not go through the nightmare I had to. Great, I'm happy for them. I am trying to just accept all this, but as a result of several of the features not working, we are sometimes overlooking arming the system. I am so upset with them. Why did they not believe me when I spoke with them? It's difficult for me to not be pissed off every day about all of this. Derick from the tech. dept. was "I'm the professional, you are the idiot" type of person. No help and a big joke.

GBF150 remote start Remote start I ordered from them worked flawlessly. I have an f150 and the instructions were extraordinarily detailed. If you follow the instructions there is no way you can mess any wiring up. Instructions included pictures and ways to test your connection before you actually connect to the module. Absolutely awesome experience. Derrick was the technician who helped me when I accidentally pressed a button wrong (easy fix he told me to unplug it and plug it back in). He was extremely helpful and had a great personality. I could have talked to him about anything and he would have kept the conversation going. Hands down best customer service I have received from anything online. I called and got a real person in two seconds. He knew exactly what every wire looked like for my vehicle off the top of his head. Genius man. I will recommend this for anyone looking for a remote start. I can't believe how smooth this process went with code alarm.
