USI rented from Budget in West Palm and… I rented from Budget in West Palm and have never seen such an inept company. They told me in an email that my charges for the car were $394 and my actual bill on two CapitalOne transaction came to $442. Then they said they credited $109 to my account in February, which was a lie. When I askede them about sending me a detailed account of my charge, they never sent it despite 6-7 times I asked for it. I also asked where the $109 was they claimed they credited to my account and they always replied with their form letter. I asked for a coupon for my aggravation and that was not addressed. Don't use them! They are not transparent and basically lie...and I have their emails to prove it!!!

GBHired car via British Airways collected… Hired car via British Airways collected at Nice Airport, France. Qued ages at the main Avis/Budget desk only to be told that we would have to report to another desk on the 2nd floor of the car hire building and waited yet again to be dealt with. We hired the car for three weeks and hardly used it other than for shopping therefore very little mileage. When we returned the car to Budget on 24th April 24 we were asked to pay an extra 123 euros as they said the inside of the car was not clean. It was clean other than a few flower petals that had blown through the window and a few leaves from trees on the drivers side footwell that had been on my husbands shoes. There was no rubbish in the car at all. We have taken photographs of the inside of the car as proof that it was not returned in a dirty condition. We have never had this experience ever before as we always return vehicles in a clean state out of consideration. It was not our responsibility to valet the car prior to returning it. I think it is a scam to screw more money out of customers. It would have taken five minutes to vacuum the carpet. Cars have to cleaned prior to rehiring to other customers. We will be complaining to British Airways about this cheat but the blame is entirely aimed at Avis/Budget. I shall be emailing the photographs to Laurent Sculier, Managing Director of Budget in France

USNot Too Bad an Experience at Las Vegas Airport Rented at the Las Vegas airport. Had to wait in line 1 hour. They had no cars ready for pick up. As each customer talked with an agent, the agent called Service and they prepared a car for the customer. It made the process very long. We got to the spot in the garage area and found someone else there, promised a vehicle for the same spot. We got the car; we don't know how the other couple fared. Budget did not include the Customer Facility charge in our prepaid rental estimate. There is no reason for that (it is a daily rate) except it makes the rental price look less expensive than it will be. Leaving the garage and car drop off were very smooth. Do me sure to look car over before you leave the garage; as you leave you have to sign a document indicating no damage on vehicle or exactly what damage you found.

DKBe careful!! Be careful!!! They stolen your money!!! Is not fear, they take a deposit for 300 euro and they never give you back. They use a fake excuses to don't give back the deposit, also they don't tell you what happened, don't reply about, you have to travel again to the office after 2 week without response about give back the deposit... Is the first time I've tried, and never again. VANREL is 1000 time better

GBBudget scam artists What a joke this company is - booked a vehicle to collect in Italy (not a problem), arrived to collect and was offered a second driver for free by the gentleman at the desk, as we were just going to have the 1 driver. We used the vehicle and returned- they tried to charge us for damage on the vehicle, luckily I had a video showing the damage from the beginning of the hire. Then we got a bill for the extra driver (which was not by choice!! Only taken the offer because it was given free of charge). Customer services have been terrible when emailed - i will never use this company again and i hope others avoid at all costs!
