TRExtremely poor customer service Never booking with Budget again. I was told I could travel to Austria from Switzerland with the car, and this was outlined in my contract. Budget issued me with a fine from the Austrian border authorities (plus their own additional expenses) because the car did not display the appropriate sticker to cross the border. Budget refused to take ownership and did not refund me, stating that it was my fault that the car had the incorrect sticker which makes no sense at all. Their customer service team were hopeless and just continued to reply with generic responses.

USRented a car from Indianaoplis airport Budget here for a work trip Rented a car from here for a work trip. When returning to the airport I dropped the rental off, received my receipt after the person scanned the barcode of the car. Several days later received additional charges for well over $1,000.00. When I called up, they told me I haven't returned the car. I've now been dealing with their loss prevention people; four times I've called. The answer I keep getting is that, "We can't get a hold of anyone at the airport location." NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET

USI pre paid and rented a car with budget… I pre paid and rented a car with budget got pick up tat Phoenix Arizona. It’s been 3 hours and I am still in line . First at the Budget front desk which they gave no control over. Then in the garage I waited an hour plus to get my car. Some were assigned I was not, I was given a “F” which meant, I waited in a line, with other very disgruntled people for whenever they pulled up a car. A huge line of “E” tickets came down and they all went before me. This is a terrible cluster F of a system. I will rethink Budget in the future for my rental needs.

GBBeware of Hard Selling Beware of Hard Selling- You do NOT always need 3rd party insurance and you do NOT need to pay for their toll pass which is MUCH more expensive than just paying tolls in the States. I have emailed to complain that I was told that I NEEDED to take the tolls package and in my sleep deprived state I didn't argue too much. They don't care, they made a profit and their sales rep got their commission - avoid...!

GBWhat a bunch of crooks What a bunch of crooks! After an 8-hour flight, we found ourselves confronted by a hard-selling sales representative at their pick-up desk. Despite explaining we had insurance he insisted we need additional, and we ended up signing up for insurance that we later discovered we didn't need. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge us for refuelling a car that we returned with a full tank. Needless to say, I'll definitely try to avoid them in the future.
