GBZERO STARS. Stole our money. Wish ZERO stars was an option. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to adjust the dates of our car rental for an out-of-state trip. Hotwire REFUSED TO HELP. Completely refused to switch our dates or refund our money. We paid over $1000 to Hotwire for a service we DID NOT receive, since our trip dates had changed. Customer service was absolutely useless. DO NOT RENT WITH THESE THIEVES!!!

CAScammed by hotwire Scammed by hotwire. I was guaranteed a hotel and then got something totally different. Support didn't care at all and tried with 3 different ppl that all gave long generic responses. They even said the guarantee wording actuality means “examples” which is ridiculous.

GBHotwire "guarantee" means nothing I booked a Hot Rate hotel through the website. I understand you take your chances when booking these rates. But the site said "You’re guaranteed to stay at one of these regional or national chains:" and showed Sheraton, Radisson, Holiday Inn, and Wingate. It further offered a photo from the hotel I was booking. I was booked into the Sonesta Select. I have talked to multiple people there, and get the same rehearsed answers. How can they legally make a guarantee and then not follow through with it?

GBNot worth any perceived savings Every time I book a car with them, I have a bad experience. I say I will never book again and a couple of years later I decide to try them again and always get screwed. They will not update or change your reservation for any reason ever, so it's completely useless to call customer service. And if you are slightly late on your time, they charge you a whole other day (instead of an hourly rate, like most rental agencies.

GBMy husband and I made a reservation for… My husband and I made a reservation for a car on hotwire.com for June 27th until the 29th. On the site it said book now pay later so we reserved the car on the site it asked if we needed insurance and my husband and I agreed to get it so we did. But what we didn't realize is that they took the money out of our account now it's not about the money what it is about is that they can do this to anyone. Called them and asked for the money back we needed it to buy food. They said it would take 30 days to get it back that just unacceptable. I told them they didn't wait 30 days to take the money they said that is their policy. I want to bring a class action lawsuit against hotwire.com and Allianz insurance if anyone is willing please come forward.
