hotwire refuse to give refud booked a room for out of town trip on arrival we received the key went to the room and the door was broken. entered room with funky smell and floor was dirty. bed was made but sheets were stained. went back to front desk to ask for refund and told us we had to go thru hotwire for it. i ask for pholio for confirmation of cancelling room to give to hotwire. no one answered tha for the week so i let text and received a response 2 days later which equal 4 days siince cancelling room. hot wire refused to give refund and offed a 25 hotwire bucks crap. hotel was not safe nor clean which we did not stay. why is it so hard to receive a refund?

ROACHES AND DIRTY LINENS at METRO PHX APTS. The reviews about METRO PHX APTS that speak about ROACHES and DIRTY LINENS and OLD TOWELS and POOR SERVICE FROM HOUSEKEEPING and LOCAL VAGRANTS and UNSAVORY LONG TERM TENANTS and rooms that need MULTIPLE REPAIRS are: ABSOLUTELY TRUE and ACCURATE. This might not be the WORST place to stay...it is without question the most UNCOMFORTABLE. Mostly because of the ROACHES and the dirty LINENS. (I went to Walmart and purchased my own pillow..pillowcase..towels and tried to sleep on the couch) Yes...the front desk staff is very friendly...NOT PROFESSIONAL. Yes..the property has a decent pool and picnic/grill area. Yes..the location is central to the airport and downtown and close to the highway. Yes...the rooms are large studio/kitchenette apt style intended for extended stays. However...staying here is almost a PUNISHMENT and HOTWIRE as well as ANY OTHER reputable travel site should be EMBARRASSED for listing this property AND sending guests here for lodging. Mostly because of the ROACHES and the OLD DIRTY LINENS and HOUSEKEEPING NOT BEING HELPFUL AT ALL. Staying at Metro PHX Apts is highly NOT! RECOMMENDED....unless you have ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CHOICE.

Horrible website Horrible website. Website was messed up so everything I made a reservation I never received a confirmation email and never showed under my itinerary so I assumed the bookings weren't going though which has happened in the past so I tried 2 more times and the same problem happened. Then I check my bank account and saw the transactions went through. After I contacted hotwire about the transactions they admitted that they are having problems with their website but said they can only refund me for 1 transaction of the 3. I then asked if they can move the date of the second transaction and they said they can't. So I asked them why even tho this is their fault and that they admitted to it being their fault they could not refund me money for both transactions? They said its against their policy. Never using this scam website again.

Don't be fulled by fake positive… Don't be fulled by fake positive reviews. This company has literally no customer support. There may be some deals, right. But if something goes wrong or you simply need to change something - you are on your own. Local hotels are perhaps so-so. In the worst case there's always another hotel near by. But flights or vacations? Save yourself from big troubles with this crappy company

Hotwire "guarantee" means nothing I booked a Hot Rate hotel through the website. I understand you take your chances when booking these rates. But the site said "You’re guaranteed to stay at one of these regional or national chains:" and showed Sheraton, Radisson, Holiday Inn, and Wingate. It further offered a photo from the hotel I was booking. I was booked into the Sonesta Select. I have talked to multiple people there, and get the same rehearsed answers. How can they legally make a guarantee and then not follow through with it?
