GBDon't be fulled by fake positive… Don't be fulled by fake positive reviews. This company has literally no customer support. There may be some deals, right. But if something goes wrong or you simply need to change something - you are on your own. Local hotels are perhaps so-so. In the worst case there's always another hotel near by. But flights or vacations? Save yourself from big troubles with this crappy company

GBBeware of this when using hotwire.com I was researching trips for rental car and made two reservations. Somehow one was submitted as prepay which I did not authorize because I was only doing light level research. I then spent two hours chatting with hotwire and then calling Hertz and Expedia (who owns Hotwire) only to get the same answer which was to send an email to a generic email address I got a response today and it was that they could do nothing and call my bank to try and get my $632 back. This is wrong and not fair whatsoever.

GBI love it, not sure why it's got bad reviews Not sure why everyone is leaving bad reviews for hotwire - I've had some great deals from the company in the past. In Europe I saved some serious cash on hotels (I had a room worth $350 USD a night for under $150 a night on hotwire). I've saved tons of money on rental cars too under their hot deals - often times more than several hundred dollars compared to competitors. Obviously you need to be careful because you cannot be refunded for any of these rooms or cars.

GBTotal inefficiency The most inefficient company I have ever dealt with....dealing with them for one month to get a phone installed. Waiting since October for phone installation...three appointments thus far two no shows and one the installer came but was unable to install service...in addition after being told numerous times to contact us on our cell phone they insist on texting and calling the landlord while he is at work on Wall Street trading and is very upset about all the communication coming to him rather than us. Nov 20 appt no show..Nov 27 appt no show now we have our 3rd appt for Thursday Nov 30... Six weeks to get a phone installed!!!!

GBCorporate abuse Loyal customer, the one time I messed up and accidentally booked a duplicate car rental I was told because it’s a “hot rate” no refund or credit available. Who cares what it’s called? How is it legal or ethical for a company policy to flat out steal peoples’ money?
