Total inefficiency The most inefficient company I have ever dealt with....dealing with them for one month to get a phone installed. Waiting since October for phone installation...three appointments thus far two no shows and one the installer came but was unable to install service...in addition after being told numerous times to contact us on our cell phone they insist on texting and calling the landlord while he is at work on Wall Street trading and is very upset about all the communication coming to him rather than us. Nov 20 appt no show..Nov 27 appt no show now we have our 3rd appt for Thursday Nov 30... Six weeks to get a phone installed!!!!

I love it, not sure why it's got bad reviews Not sure why everyone is leaving bad reviews for hotwire - I've had some great deals from the company in the past. In Europe I saved some serious cash on hotels (I had a room worth $350 USD a night for under $150 a night on hotwire). I've saved tons of money on rental cars too under their hot deals - often times more than several hundred dollars compared to competitors. Obviously you need to be careful because you cannot be refunded for any of these rooms or cars.

Not worth any perceived savings Every time I book a car with them, I have a bad experience. I say I will never book again and a couple of years later I decide to try them again and always get screwed. They will not update or change your reservation for any reason ever, so it's completely useless to call customer service. And if you are slightly late on your time, they charge you a whole other day (instead of an hourly rate, like most rental agencies.

Hotel reservation FRAUDULENT Hotel reservation. I needed to change it. website customer service chat etc are blocked. I emailed Robot reply directed me to a telphone number . They were not Hotwire but Expedia . they advised me the reservation number did not exist providing Hotwire direct line . That number doesnt answer , I found another Hotwire department who also advised reservation didnt exist and I should I should cancel the VISA payment. Thats impossible with an Spanish bank . Hotwire hide without any manner of contacting them . thus theyre classed as FRAUDULENT operation. DONT DEAL WITH THEM EVER YOU LL LOSE YOUR MONEY

I never write a bad review even if… I never write a bad review even if deserved but this was so bad I had to for future hotwire customers! We were promised an " Excellent Rating" hotel and of course it showed very common nice hotels as my choices but ended up giving me a sketchy unsafe "ECONO LODGE MOTEL" that was beyond nasty!! I will never ever book with Hotwire again!
