GBDon't trust Hotwire quotes - they manipulate your data to offer lower rates incorrectly forwarded pickup/dropoff dates/times to rental company. Caused me to spend more than they quoted. Would not resolve issue even with screenshots showing that accurate data was entered into their system.

GBROACHES AND DIRTY LINENS at METRO PHX APTS. The reviews about METRO PHX APTS that speak about ROACHES and DIRTY LINENS and OLD TOWELS and POOR SERVICE FROM HOUSEKEEPING and LOCAL VAGRANTS and UNSAVORY LONG TERM TENANTS and rooms that need MULTIPLE REPAIRS are: ABSOLUTELY TRUE and ACCURATE. This might not be the WORST place to stay...it is without question the most UNCOMFORTABLE. Mostly because of the ROACHES and the dirty LINENS. (I went to Walmart and purchased my own pillow..pillowcase..towels and tried to sleep on the couch) Yes...the front desk staff is very friendly...NOT PROFESSIONAL. Yes..the property has a decent pool and picnic/grill area. Yes..the location is central to the airport and downtown and close to the highway. Yes...the rooms are large studio/kitchenette apt style intended for extended stays. However...staying here is almost a PUNISHMENT and HOTWIRE as well as ANY OTHER reputable travel site should be EMBARRASSED for listing this property AND sending guests here for lodging. Mostly because of the ROACHES and the OLD DIRTY LINENS and HOUSEKEEPING NOT BEING HELPFUL AT ALL. Staying at Metro PHX Apts is highly NOT! RECOMMENDED....unless you have ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CHOICE.

GBNot worth any perceived savings Every time I book a car with them, I have a bad experience. I say I will never book again and a couple of years later I decide to try them again and always get screwed. They will not update or change your reservation for any reason ever, so it's completely useless to call customer service. And if you are slightly late on your time, they charge you a whole other day (instead of an hourly rate, like most rental agencies.

GBBeware of this when using hotwire.com I was researching trips for rental car and made two reservations. Somehow one was submitted as prepay which I did not authorize because I was only doing light level research. I then spent two hours chatting with hotwire and then calling Hertz and Expedia (who owns Hotwire) only to get the same answer which was to send an email to a generic email address I got a response today and it was that they could do nothing and call my bank to try and get my $632 back. This is wrong and not fair whatsoever.

GBI never write a bad review even if… I never write a bad review even if deserved but this was so bad I had to for future hotwire customers! We were promised an " Excellent Rating" hotel and of course it showed very common nice hotels as my choices but ended up giving me a sketchy unsafe "ECONO LODGE MOTEL" that was beyond nasty!! I will never ever book with Hotwire again!
