BEWARE...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I rented a car from Green Motion online, and purchased the insurance online as well. All was approved online, but when I arrived to pick up the car, they asked for my personal policy declaration document other wise I would have to purchase their insurance at $59 per day. I had the policy declartion I purchased with the rental, but apparently it had only $300 liability which was not adequate according to the cashier. I used my phone to access my personal ins.policy declaration document online and emailed it to the cashier. He then told my $75,000 liability was not enough, but since I was renting the car only for the day he would let it slide. Then he asked if I would like to purchase the Miami highway/tollway package. and when I declined, he informed me that Miami had more tollways than any other state and without this package there would be a hefty fine if they found I drove on any highway or tollway. I still declined and simply stayed off the highways. I did not see Miami as I had intended and felt very scammed, even though I didn't fall for their scams. While I was waiting, I heard another woman ask for a refund since she could not produce her policy declarations and could not afford and addtl $59 per day, and they told her she need to get her refund from the site where she purchased the rental. They offer no refunds on site.

Absolute scam Absolute scam. WILL extort money from you in excess of what you already paid no matter what. Guy in line in front of me declines in surance but they don't accept his brain of insurance and he is then forced to purchase theirs. 300+ extra for his rental in excess of what he has already paid for. Me, 50 state street legal with progressive insurance... Doesn't have the 300k required to self insure. Skip this rental place. They will scam you of cash beyond what you already paid for.

Scam Rental Car Company! I tried to use Green Motion in my last trip to Miami. I made the booking online in economybookings.com and once I arrived to the office (outside Miami Airport) the scam started. They tried to charge me 150 $ daily over the rent price I paid previously for insurance. They refuse to use my own insurance requesting a Liability over 300 K , when their car I rented are not over 25K market value. Other customers were upset also in the hall, I requested to cancel all to the guy in the desk and he said he was unable to refund to do it and said "Economybookings will never answer", the manager was smiling in a corner. Helpfully after I tried without look to contact Economybookings I did it through American Express and they canceled the payment. Stay away from this scamers!

I least a car with Green Motion last… I least a car with Green Motion last year while on holiday in Italy. The car had damage all around it, small dents and scratches, but nothing too severe, it was all noted on the paperwork. My deposit was 900 Euros and I was told it would be deposited back into my bank account within 14 days of the end of my trip. When I dropped off the car, I took pictures of it from all angles as it was very early in the morning with no one around. I have been trying to get a response from Green Motion for 7 months about the return of my deposit. I now have an email from them claiming there was damage on the vehicle and along with a damage report they sent a photo of scratches on a car of similar colour without any proof it's the same vehicle. I have learned the hard way not to trust this rental company, after 7 months they pulled this stunt. I will not use Green Motion again this year, they are clearly desperate to make money.
