When entering I was rudely treated unprofessionally, racially profiled and discriminated against by members of Management not associates. The Administration (Management) a woman and Hispanic male in back offices stated they were contacted by police that I was being investigated and consequently this led to the most inhumane, unprofessional, despicable, demeaning experience. I paid for my reservation and never retrieved vehicle but sadly had to leave due to the extreme misconduct and blatant unprofessionalism I endured. I would like an explanation as to how and why this could happen, I am a first time customer. I booked with Priceline. After filing. The manager was at the counter the entire day and did not observe any behavior as described in the statement from the customer. They lied to me. Very dishonest. They lied to me. Charged me for things I didn't want ans when I returned the car the bill was triple the original price!! Charged me for things I told them I didn't want!

Never again, bunch of scumbags This company is super deceptive about its hidden fees, which ended up almost doubling the price I was quoted. When I questioned some of the fees, like a "stadium fee" after the fact (was never at a stadium), I was told it was required by AZ state law. If that's the case, include it in the quoted price, dipshits! So pissed. Never again.

What and amazing experience What and amazing experience, I booked thru Expedia like I always do, they picked me up at the airport and brought me to their office, the design is very nice, the guys working the counter do their job advising you on what you might need but don't force you into anything, I really like that, unlike other companies that pressure you into getting their own insurance, I had my own insurance and they let me use it, of course they explain that the security deposit is high due to the responsibility but is something that I already knew so everything went well..

PLEASE BEWARE PLEASE BEWARE! I do not recommend that you rent from NU Car Rentals/Horsepower Car Rental. When I booked the reservation online, my initial total was $36.10 in March of 2024. I did not purchase the online insurance because my personal car insurance covers all rentals. It is necessary to note that I have NEVER had a problem with ANY car rental companies accepting my insurance. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the rental counter, they stated that they only accepted specific insurance that did not include mine. Within a few minutes, my rental jumped from $36.10 to $196.55! This pricing difference left me feeling swindled and aggravated. After speaking to my insurance agent, he also confirmed that he has never had an issue utilizing this insurance with a car rental company. NU CAR RENTALS/HORSEPOWER CAR RENTALS IS DECEPTIVE AND A SCAM! Save yourself the frustration and rent elsewhere.
