MXWhat and amazing experience What and amazing experience, I booked thru Expedia like I always do, they picked me up at the airport and brought me to their office, the design is very nice, the guys working the counter do their job advising you on what you might need but don't force you into anything, I really like that, unlike other companies that pressure you into getting their own insurance, I had my own insurance and they let me use it, of course they explain that the security deposit is high due to the responsibility but is something that I already knew so everything went well..

GBJohn was great at check in John was great at check in. The check in was virtual (talking to a representative on a screen) I was skeptical but it went very smooth with John’s clear instructions. The little locker that pops open with the key inside is neat! I will definitely use this company again when in need of a rental car.

GBBorders on Fraud Them, "Would you like damage coverage? It's only $3 more per day!" Lie #1. "Wait, why is cost so high?" "We hold a deposit that we'll return when you bring the car back." Went from a $238 rental to $534. Believe all the one star ratings here!!!

GBThank you NU Car San Diego! We went through an online travel company and part of our package was a rental car through NU Car Rentals in San Diego. We were skeptical at first as we've never heard of this company. I was impressed. Check in was great. The customer service I thought was awesome. The gentleman that waited on us was more than friendly, went out of his way to assist us by answering any questions or concerns and we were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I added their car insurance myself with no pressure from them, decided I didn't need it and called them the next day and they removed it. I definitely will use this company again. Thank you Nu Car San Diego!

GBDO NOT rent from Nu Car, they will steal from you Please please please believe the bad reviews! You may think you are smarter than them and you'll be able to see all of their tricks. I was very clear that I didn't want insurance, I selected no insurance on the contract, yet I was charged hundreds of dollars for insurance on a $64 rental. I disputed it with my credit card company and my credit card company sided with them stating that neither one of us had proof. So you may think that even if they screw you you'll just dispute it, you won't. You can waste your time taking screenshots of the contract that you sign electronically when you rent the car, or you can go to a car dealership that isn't going to try to scam you in the beginning. I am going to do everything in my power to destroy this company single-handedly. I have seen how many people they have scammed, how many people they have taking money from illegally, the fraudulent behavior, how many people they have hurt, and honey I got nothing but time. I am going to do everything in my power to keep them from hurting you. Step one is making sure I tell as many people as I can to stay far away from this company. They need to be put out of business. They are running a scam and you will pay significantly more than you would at a reputable car rental company for a crappier car. Do not under any circumstances no matter what the initial price looks like rent from this company. That price is not what you will pay.
