FRAUDULENT/UNETHICAL/UNPROFESSIONAL Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware) Horrible experience at this location!!! Do not come here if you value your privacy and don't want your personal identifying information disseminated amongst staff members at this location and used for fraud. While I typically support local businesses this is one Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware). Very unprofessional environment! Complete and total lack of transparency and frequent attempts to take more and more money. Read the reviews carefully I regretfully read them and disregarded those who came before me. Read them and dodge a bullet! Experienced a horrible customer experience at location 2327 E Van Buren St. Sky Harbor Intl Airport, Phoenix, AZ 85006. On 04/28/24. When entering I was rudely treated unprofessionally, racially profiled and discriminated against by members of Management not associates. The Administration (Management) a woman and Hispanic male in back offices stated they were contacted by police that I was being investigated and consequently this led to the most inhumane, unprofessional, despicable, demeaning experience. I paid for my reservation and never retrieved vehicle but sadly had to leave due to the extreme misconduct and blatant unprofessionalism I endured. I would like an explanation as to how and why this could happen, I am a first time customer. I booked with Priceline. After filing. I did just hear back from the manager of the location. There is nothing that will be done here. The manager was at the counter the entire day and did not observe any behavior as described in the statement from the customer. PLEASE BEWARE PLEASE BEWARE! I do not recommend that you rent from NU Car Rentals/Horsepower Car Rental. When I booked the reservation online, my initial total was $36.10 in March of 2024. I did not purchase the online insurance because my personal car insurance covers all rentals. It is necessary to note that I have NEVER had a problem with ANY car rental companies accepting my insurance. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the rental counter, they stated that they only accepted specific insurance that did not include mine. Within a few minutes, my rental jumped from $36.10 to $196.55! This pricing difference left me feeling swindled and aggravated. After speaking to my insurance agent, he also confirmed that he has never had an issue utilizing this insurance with a car rental company. NU CAR RENTALS/HORSEPOWER CAR RENTALS IS DECEPTIVE AND A SCAM! Save yourself the frustration and rent elsewhere.

We were directly sent to the right… We were directly sent to the right counter The person in charge give us the option we want and we drive this car for 2 days ( in and around) Phoenix without any problems

They lied to me. Very dishonest. They lied to me. Charged me for things I didn't want ans when I returned the car the bill was triple the original price!! Charged me for things I told them I didn't want!
