Very good customer service … I read some reviews online about this company that were not very favorable. However my experience with them was great! I had to cancel my reservation shortly before my trip and figured I wouldn’t get a refund. I was pleasantly surprised when they refunded all of my money. Definitely going to do business with them again when I need a rental car.

Thank you NU Car San Diego! We went through an online travel company and part of our package was a rental car through NU Car Rentals in San Diego. We were skeptical at first as we've never heard of this company. I was impressed. Check in was great. The customer service I thought was awesome. The gentleman that waited on us was more than friendly, went out of his way to assist us by answering any questions or concerns and we were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I added their car insurance myself with no pressure from them, decided I didn't need it and called them the next day and they removed it. I definitely will use this company again. This company is dishonest and you will… This company is dishonest and you will find no recourse for your troubles. Do not rent from NU. They offered a nice upgrade for a fair fee but then charged the original invoice plus the full amount for the new rental. My four day rental of 23.00/day was 351.00. You cannot reach anyone who will help and they email that the charges are accurate. So I paid for 2 cars at the same time even though I only got one car. This place cannot stay in business operating like this. Don't do it.

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE! I was unaware I had even booked through this company, as I used a 3rd party site. I prepaid for my rental and was charged over DOUBLE after I returned the car. They charged me for insurance, which I verbally declined and said No to. They also charged me: Rental Surchage, Facility Charge, Airport Fee, License Fee, Stadium Fee, and a Credit Card Surcharge! Terrible company
