FRAUDULENT/UNETHICAL/UNPROFESSIONAL Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware) Horrible experience at this location!!! Do not come here if you value your privacy and don't want your personal identifying information disseminated amongst staff members at this location and used for fraud. When entering I was rudely treated unprofessionally, racially profiled and discriminated against by members of Management not associates. The Administration (Management) a woman and Hispanic male in back offices stated they were contacted by police that I was being investigated and consequently this led to the most inhumane, unprofessional, despicable, demeaning experience. I paid for my reservation and never retrieved vehicle but sadly had to leave due to the extreme misconduct and blatant unprofessionalism I endured. I would like an explanation as to how and why this could happen, I am a first time customer. I booked with Priceline. After filing. I did just hear back from the manager of the location. There is nothing that will be done here. The manager was at the counter the entire day and did not observe any behavior as described in the statement from the customer. Borders on Fraud Them, "Would you like damage coverage? It's only $3 more per day!" Lie #1. "Wait, why is cost so high?" "We hold a deposit that we'll return when you bring the car back." Went from a $238 rental to $534. Believe all the one star ratings here!!!

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE! I was unaware I had even booked through this company, as I used a 3rd party site. I prepaid for my rental and was charged over DOUBLE after I returned the car. They charged me for insurance, which I verbally declined and said No to. They also charged me: Rental Surchage, Facility Charge, Airport Fee, License Fee, Stadium Fee, and a Credit Card Surcharge! Terrible company

Thank you NU Car San Diego! We went through an online travel company and part of our package was a rental car through NU Car Rentals in San Diego. We were skeptical at first as we've never heard of this company. I was impressed. Check in was great. The customer service I thought was awesome. The gentleman that waited on us was more than friendly, went out of his way to assist us by answering any questions or concerns and we were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I added their car insurance myself with no pressure from them, decided I didn't need it and called them the next day and they removed it. I definitely will use this company again. They lied to me. Very dishonest. They lied to me. Charged me for things I didn't want ans when I returned the car the bill was triple the original price!! Charged me for things I told them I didn't want!
