GBDO NOT rent from Nu Car, they will steal from you Please please please believe the bad reviews! You may think you are smarter than them and you'll be able to see all of their tricks. I was very clear that I didn't want insurance, I selected no insurance on the contract, yet I was charged hundreds of dollars for insurance on a $64 rental. I disputed it with my credit card company and my credit card company sided with them stating that neither one of us had proof. So you may think that even if they screw you you'll just dispute it, you won't. You can waste your time taking screenshots of the contract that you sign electronically when you rent the car, or you can go to a car dealership that isn't going to try to scam you in the beginning. I am going to do everything in my power to destroy this company single-handedly. I have seen how many people they have scammed, how many people they have taking money from illegally, the fraudulent behavior, how many people they have hurt, and honey I got nothing but time. I am going to do everything in my power to keep them from hurting you. Step one is making sure I tell as many people as I can to stay far away from this company. They need to be put out of business. They are running a scam and you will pay significantly more than you would at a reputable car rental company for a crappier car. Do not under any circumstances no matter what the initial price looks like rent from this company. That price is not what you will pay.

GBBE SMART!!!! KNOW WHAT YOU"RE SIGNING AND WHAT YOU'RE GETTING! RE: CarRentals Itinerary 72682599790835 ORLANDO/MCO - Folks, be VERY careful what you are signing. I started out with a $168.00 rental for 7 days. I didn't use my head. When they got through with me, I paid $546.53, included was; 13.99 a day for tolls, ( I went through four toll booths) I had them fill the tank ( I drove a grand total of 98 miles) but they said their gas was cheaper and an $85.00 collision charge after I even showed my own collision coverage through GEICO. I was told I would have to go through carrentals.com to get reimbursed the $84.00 collision charge. The carrentals website is a maze of confusion offering no customer service on issues or problems. Live and learn. They know how to inflate a $168.00 weekly rental up to $546.53. The car rental cost me almost as much as my room on a daily charge. Be smart! Rent smart! Know what you're signing. They won't give you nothing for nothing. RIDICULOUS and I'm upset with myself. Carrentals.com works with Action and NU.. I feel a reimbursement of my collision charge and tolls should be refunded. Otherwise, I feel hosed.

GBThank you NU Car San Diego! We went through an online travel company and part of our package was a rental car through NU Car Rentals in San Diego. We were skeptical at first as we've never heard of this company. I was impressed. Check in was great. The customer service I thought was awesome. The gentleman that waited on us was more than friendly, went out of his way to assist us by answering any questions or concerns and we were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I added their car insurance myself with no pressure from them, decided I didn't need it and called them the next day and they removed it. I definitely will use this company again. Thank you Nu Car San Diego!

GBBorders on Fraud Them, "Would you like damage coverage? It's only $3 more per day!" Lie #1. "Wait, why is cost so high?" "We hold a deposit that we'll return when you bring the car back." Went from a $238 rental to $534. Believe all the one star ratings here!!!

GBToo many extra hidden fees Too many extra hidden fees. No direct line to address any changes to your plan. Prices online are very misleading. For a car listed at $12 per day cost was actually over $500 not including the insurance which if you have your own insurance dont opt into theirs.
