FRDON’T RENT CAR AVIS AND CARTRAWLER DON’T RENT CAR WITH AVIS AND CARTRAWLER Be careful, thoses companies are thieves. I booked a car with Avis with reservation number AE557578480 for 3 weeks in Dubai. I paid online with my debit card and of course the payment went through. When I got there, the Avis agent refused to rent the car for me because I needed a credit card. The majority of cards in France are debit. So I couldn't get the car and Cartrawler refuses to refund me 660€. THEY ARE THIEVES. I will post negative reviews alldays on all platforms to make them lose money and customers until they find a solution to refund me back.

ATCAREFUL! FRAUD!!! DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS UAE DO NOT RENT HERE, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF. I WAS DEFRAUDED FOR THE ENTIRE PRE AUTHORIZED AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR AN ALLEGED TRAFFIC FINE. WITHOUT A SHRED OF PROOF JUST A MADE UP PDF BUT EXACTLY FOR THE REMAINING "OPEN" AMOUNT = DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CORRECT RENTAL CHARGES AND "DEPOSIT" AS PREAUTHORIZED ON MY DINERS CLUB CREDIT CARD. ATTENTION: DINERS CLUB WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL.

NOAlot of bad reviews here Alot of bad reviews here, my experience was good with Avis. I rented the car for travel to Oman. No issues at all with booking, car delivery on time, great customer service. Pick up on time. Car was nice. All the necessary car documents for Oman travel where taken care of by the company in advance. Thanks to Mohammad Arab, Ashfaq and Rafiullah.

ITThey do not deliver what they promise In December 2022 I responded to an ad promoting a one year lease on AUDI cars. AVIS UAE first said okay for a one-year lease on an AUDI A6, then two weeks later said they cannot honour the deal, and offered a two years lease, that I said I would accept if they could wave the penalty clause. They said they would move forward. It was 11 January 2023, and I've never heard from them anymore. So, they had me sign a contract, collected tons of documents and sensible data, did not respect the deal, and disappear. It is unconceivable that these business practices are tolerated.
