CAREFUL! FRAUD!!! DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS UAE DO NOT RENT HERE, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF. I WAS DEFRAUDED FOR THE ENTIRE PRE AUTHORIZED AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR AN ALLEGED TRAFFIC FINE. WITHOUT A SHRED OF PROOF JUST A MADE UP PDF BUT EXACTLY FOR THE REMAINING "OPEN" AMOUNT = DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CORRECT RENTAL CHARGES AND "DEPOSIT" AS PREAUTHORIZED ON MY DINERS CLUB CREDIT CARD. ATTENTION: DINERS CLUB WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL.

Absolutely horrendous experience Absolutely horrendous experience. After almost a two hour delay in receiving the car, I received it in a very bad state. Carpets were filthy! and full of stains. After returning it, I was charges with AED 36.60 for 1 Salik CROSSING!!! when I ask their call centre for a breakdown, they tell me they do not have the information!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

I would not rcommend this company… I would not rcommend this company .they charge extra cost fuel ,cleaning etc. very expensive , does not answer for requests .No any staff in operating hours , contact with call center costed me a lot .

I got fined AED 1800 because Avis did not insure and register their car. I have a lease car from Avis that was in an accident and needed repair. They gave me a replacement vehicle. Last week I was pulled over by the police because the registration and insurance had expired and I was fined AED 1800 and 2 black points. So far Avis have not taken any action and do not respond to my attempts to contact them about this matter. This is just one example of the extremely poor customer service I have experienced with them. Avoid at all costs.
