GBThey take forever to process your claim & Don't Cover Rental for a reasonable amount of time… They take forever to process your claim and expect you to foot the bill for the rental, as they only cover 7 days. They then allowed their appraiser to lie to me and tell me that the part would be delivered in 5 days. I spoke with the mechanic, who said the work would be done in 1 day, so this should have worked for me. I went and got the rental based on that information. Since then, they called me and said that the shipping will take longer, but they will not cover the rental for a longer period because the repair is not covered in the contract. I understand contracts, so I get it, but as a customer, giving a 1-star review is deserved for what I have had to put up with this service and what its going to cost me out of pocket.

GBHE WENT WAY BEYOND TO HELP ME! HE WENT WAY BEYOND THE NORMAL SERVICE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET MY ENGINE'S HOOD OPEN, BUT IT WAS SIMPLY FROZEN CLOSED, SO HE ENDED UP HAVING TO TOW IT TO MY CAR REPAAIR SHOP FOR ME. HE WAS VERY KIND AND THOUGHTFUL! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH KIND THINGS AOUT HIM!!

GBLooking for a reason to deny me help!!! I was happy to get a live person. I am disappointed that my repair was denied due to rust or corrosion. I live in a State where this is unavoidable. This makes me apprehensive about our future relationship. If you are going to deny a claim, and I have paid you on time every month for over a year is very disappointing to me. Are you here just to take my money? How can you offer me a piece of mind if I have to fear if you will stand behind me in a time of need????

GBAmerican Auto Shield is a good company American Auto Shield is a good company. Their extended warranty plans cover an enough to a lot. I have the $100 extended warranty plan. The positives – The app is informative, clear, and easy to use. Both of my claim’s worth around a total of $4,200. The negatives - Their wait times can be a little time and some of their customer service representatives can be somewhat dismissive. You may have to go through the “fire” to get a claim to be honored. This may include talker to higher-ups and filing a report to BBB. Overall, I appreciate this company for honoring my two claims.
