Worse company ever Worse company ever. I was told my vehicle needed a transmission. I use Carshield My contact list it covers transmissions. American Auto Shield told me my claim was denied because it was for an electronic part. Now I cant get my vehicle fixed These companies should be shut down because they rip people off. They refuse to work on your vehicle even though it’s covered through the insurance coverage. They give both the customer and auto repair facilities the run around. American Auto Shield refuses to provide car rentals even though it’s covered in the insurance coverage. This company has held up any work that needs to be done on my brother’s car for almost 2 MONTHS!! They have extensive complaints through the Better Business Bureau and are not an accredited business! COMPLETE SCAM!!

American Auto Shield is a good company American Auto Shield is a good company. Their extended warranty plans cover an enough to a lot. I have the $100 extended warranty plan. The positives – The app is informative, clear, and easy to use. Both of my claim’s worth around a total of $4,200. The negatives - Their wait times can be a little time and some of their customer service representatives can be somewhat dismissive. You may have to go through the “fire” to get a claim to be honored. This may include talker to higher-ups and filing a report to BBB. Overall, I appreciate this company for honoring my two claims.

Car Shield success! This time, when I called, it was more for information. Everyone with which I have spoken were wonderful! Information was quickly and curteously given. I felt valued and informed. My previous encounter was to rebuild a transmission. That went beautifully and my needs and situation was taken into consideration. At that time my husband was in the hospital so I was in a harder time than normal. They made it so easy. You have a fine company and your people are the backbone of your service.
