Chevy Cruze Catalytic converter Called them to see if they do Catalytic converter for a Chevy Cruze front and they said yes and gave me a price quote. So I booked appointment with them and about an hour later the mechanic texted me stating if theirs rust on the bolts I would need to take it to a shop to get it done. On the Cruze the Catalytic Converter is in the same spot and rust will be their do to where the bolts are located they shouldn’t offer the service if they can’t do the job and want to charge to tell you they can’t do the job.

Seriously??? We have a Honda Accord and a Honda CRV. An honest mistake was made on our end and the incorrect information was provided to GoodHood. They wanted to charge us an additional $40 to go get the correct part. We said we'll go pick it up ourselves. In speaking directly with the part supplier, we find out Goodhood is up charging approximately $40 more than what the part sells for from the supplier. So we then tell GoodHood we'll supply the part ourselves..you guessed it, they then increased the labor price by $200. Seriously? At that time we cancelled the service all together. Be careful with them- get all prices/quotes in writing prior to scheduling a service.

Tobias is an amazing Mechanic 👨‍🔧 Tobias did an amazing job on my vehicle. I had messed up the brake job while working on it myself but he went out of the way to get additional tools and parts to fix my mistakes. Really appreciate the great service and would recommend it to people in Detroit area. Having said that, being an honest reviewer, giving a 4 star as my service started much later than the decided time. I would have preferred to rate a 4.5 given the option.

Great experience with Edgardo replacing the starter My starter died and FixMyCar had availability the next day which was perfect. Edgardo was my mechanic and he was awesome. Start to finish, he replaced the starter in 1.5 hours. The price was very fair and the at-home repair was super convenient and saved me the trouble of getting it towed. The mechanic was professional, courteous, and willing to answer any questions I had. My experience was 5/5 and I would use FixMyCar again.
