ScanCafe mostly did what it promised ScanCafe mostly did what it promised, but there is one issue that I will report. I randomly sampled a few of the scans and found at least 1/3 were flipped around the vertical axis. This will happen if you are scanning the wrong side of a 35mm slide. This is a mistake they should not be making, and they need to train their staff to avoid it. I sent them a note about this back in November 2023 and hope they have rectified this.

Several media transformed to digital Several media were transferred to digital formats, including some very old, 1940s era negatives. They came out profound. Slides, pictures, negatives, and some old VHS were all done as proposed and priced. Great communications and timely completion.

This is an awesome company This is an awesome company. I haven't found any other company that will let you review before receiving your photography back. I purchased an "A La Carte" order and the features are great, and you have more influence over how you get your finished scans back. I also selected a few for restorations. Can't wait to receive my digital files for restored images! It brought back life to the photo.

Great Digital Images From Both Slides and Photos! I previously used Scan Cafe to digitize some old slides. They did a great job, so I more recently used them to digitize some old photographs if varying sizes. They really did a remarkable job in getting each photo to fit perfectly in the digital space, so they are great to view on a digital photo frame. As they did with the slides, they greatly enhanced each image and adjusted both the light and the color to maximize the quality of each image as much as possible. Highly recommended!

Digitized ALL My Photos I was over lugging around prehistoric photo albums so I decided to digitize all my hard copy photos. The process was super easy & no rush to send them the pics after I submitted the order. I especially liked the status tracker online. Now all my photos are on my tiny external HD & no more bukly photo albums!
