Fast, accurate transcription at surprisingly low cost I had five videos on our firm's website, and wanted to get transcriptions for them so that the search engines would index their content. I found Speechpad, uploaded the videos and the next day I had all five transcripts in my account. All that for less than $24 (even with the extra charge for faster processing). Accuracy was surprisingly good; I only needed to add a comma here and there to make it read better.

Generally very good transcription Most jobs were of acceptable standard and I understand the difficulty of transcribing from not so perfect recordings with the added difficulty of technical terms and the Australian accent. Punctuation was at times inconsistent but overall the experience was good. Speed of getting the jobs back to me was excellent.

Great service, Under promise and over achieve is a great way to run a business. Whenever I've paid for the 24 hour service, the job is completed really fast. However, if I request a 72 hour service, I'll track the job and see it's perhaps 3/4 done by 24 hours but then takes almost the full 3 days for completion. I find that a little disappointing. Otherwise, quality of deliverable is outstanding, with very high accuracy.

Speechpad is accurate, fast and affordable In 2015 and 2016 I wrote two books on the Virginia Underground Press. I conducted about 50 interviews for both, and transcribing those interviews myself slowed the process down to about 1/4 of what it should have been. for my 12th book on the history of death penalty abolition in Virginia, I knew that because of tight deadlines I had to speed up the transcription process or I would miss them. Thank God I discovered Speechpad. I have submitted so far 9 interviews and they all came back virtually flawless - even difficult names are spelled correctly. Unbelievably good service - fast and flexible We conducted 10+ hours of interviews with business stakeholders and asked SpeechPad to transcribe them. We got the majority back within 48 hours and the quality was superb. The sheer level of customer service also came as a surprise with consistent one-to-one contact throughout and a willingness to be flexible.
