The sheer level of customer service also came as a surprise with consistent one-to-one contact throughout and a willingness to be flexible. The Best Transcription Value for Price Having looked through several competing transcription services, Speechpad came in at the lowest price and of course, one often hears that and thinks 'but don't you get what you pay for?' Happily, the folks on the phone and over email at Speechpad were gracious and attentive, and their work came in punctually and consistently. It wasn't perfect, few things are - some transcriptions had typos and misunderstandings (different formatting of transcriptions from time to time) but when those are the worst things you can say about a service, you're in a good place. If you have an infinite amount of money, then you can probably find a service which does better work for far more pay. But I would recommend Speechpad to any projects on tight budgets seeking transcription services - theirs is the best value for the price, and I expect to return to them in the future.

Rarely hit the 24 hour turn around… Rarely hit the 24 hour turn around times, blamed thick accents (ie, Australian). One tough one that just seemed to bounce around their pool was the straw that broke the back, yet was done with half a day by another supplier.
