Speechpad is accurate, fast and affordable In 2015 and 2016 I wrote two books on the Virginia Underground Press. I conducted about 50 interviews for both, and transcribing those interviews myself slowed the process down to about 1/4 of what it should have been. for my 12th book on the history of death penalty abolition in Virginia, I knew that because of tight deadlines I had to speed up the transcription process or I would miss them. Thank God I discovered Speechpad. I have submitted so far 9 interviews and they all came back virtually flawless - even difficult names are spelled correctly. And even though I sign up for the 4-day turnaround, I sometimes get them in 2 to 3 days. I heartily recommend Speechpad for ANY transcription services anyone needs. Fast, accurate and affordable. The Best Transcription Value for Price Having looked through several competing transcription services, Speechpad came in at the lowest price and of course, one often hears that and thinks 'but don't you get what you pay for?' Happily, the folks on the phone and over email at Speechpad were gracious and attentive, and their work came in punctually and consistently. It wasn't perfect, few things are - some transcriptions had typos and misunderstandings (different formatting of transcriptions from time to time) but when those are the worst things you can say about a service, you're in a good place. If you have an infinite amount of money, then you can probably find a service which does better work for far more pay. But I would recommend Speechpad to any projects on tight budgets seeking transcription services - theirs is the best value for the price, and I expect to return to them in the future.

Good job Speechpad! Quick efficient and nearly always accurate. If the transcriber is unfamiliar with certain accents this could prove problematic.

My experience with Speechpad has been … My experience with Speechpad has been that they do a great job, even when the person has a slight accent and the subject matter is challenging and has a lot of words specific to a scientific discipline like biology. This last part surprised me! I really thought I'd have to do a lot of corrections, but that wasn't further from the truth. A dense discussion of human biology, replete with molecular pathways, came out with almost no omissions. I'm very pleased with their results and would recommend them to anyone.

Affordable prices, fast and superior service like no other! I have used other transcription service providers a few years ago but when I found Speechpad, I haven't used any other since. The prices are just right, the service is incredibly fast, and the scripts are accurate and excellent in quality. You guys are the "household name" in our business when it comes to transcriptions.
