Excellent service I needed captions for 4 x 5min videos - speechpad turned it around in record time, almost perfectly. There were a couple of very minor amends required, and speechpad corrected them within hours. I couldn't recommend this service enough!

I am satisfied with the results I have been asked SpeechPad to transcript some files with quite difficult subjects. I am not 100% satisfied from the srt files, since they are not taking under consideration the subject of the speech and/or the pauses of the speaker. For example the speaker says something, pause for a minute maybe and then he changes the subject... but this is in one sentence in the srt file.... I have spent quite of time to update the srt files in a more proper narration before I upload them to the video. Also, I made the payments through bank transfers and afterwards I spent a lot of time and sent many emails trying to have the invoices marked as paid. Apart from that, there were some mistakes in the translation, some minor, some very understandable as there were references on foreign names etc, but some also were resulting in sentences that had a complete wrong gramar or had no meaning at all. Despite of all of the above, in general I am satisfied with the results of our cooperation in the meaning that they did a work that would take many weeks of my time to do it myself.

I doubt there's a better service out there Speechpad is like having your mom transcribe interviews for you -- she makes sure she checks spelling on proper nouns and uses good grammar. It's truly one of the best transcription services out there....fast and cost-effective, too!

Speechpad is accurate, fast and affordable In 2015 and 2016 I wrote two books on the Virginia Underground Press. I conducted about 50 interviews for both, and transcribing those interviews myself slowed the process down to about 1/4 of what it should have been. for my 12th book on the history of death penalty abolition in Virginia, I knew that because of tight deadlines I had to speed up the transcription process or I would miss them. Thank God I discovered Speechpad. I have submitted so far 9 interviews and they all came back virtually flawless - even difficult names are spelled correctly. And even though I sign up for the 4-day turnaround, I sometimes get them in 2 to 3 days. I heartily recommend Speechpad for ANY transcription services anyone needs. Fast, accurate and affordable. Rarely hit the 24 hour turn around… Rarely hit the 24 hour turn around times, blamed thick accents (ie, Australian). One tough one that just seemed to bounce around their pool was the straw that broke the back, yet was done with half a day by another supplier.
