CALove the folks at WestHost Love the folks at WestHost. They have been by and far the BEST website support folks I have had the pleasure to work with. I AM NOT a proficient web or web host technology guru, but I have a basic knowlege and interest. I volunteer time managing a few websites for a few NFP organizations I serve and - WESTHOST STAFF constantly make me look WAY more capable than I am. While I'd LIKE to take the credit, I make sure to point out it's the AMAZING support we get from our website HOSTING company WESTHOST. Truth be told, I do NOT want ANY of those NFP's looking elsewhere for hosting services. (THAT would be crazy)!!!!!!

GBI recently purchased hosting services… I recently purchased hosting services from WestHost to ensure my website stays live. However, my website has been down, causing significant disruption to my business. Despite trying to contact them via phone, I found no customer support available. Their chat support was unresponsive, and the email support was inadequate. As a result, my business suffered due to their lack of reliable service. Beware if you're considering dealing with these guys – they cannot be trusted to keep your website online.

GBI was having trouble and needed support I called WestHost support with a technical and billing question. John Q was able to answer both. He suggested I change my plan to one that was 66% cheeper with greater flexibility. He spent quite a lot of time with me and never did I feel rushed. He was patient, polite, spoke clearly and to the point. I hung up feeling that I accomplished more than I had planned.

GBScott L Scott L. was extremely helpful to assist me with switching back and forth between PHP 7.4 and 8.0 to identify issues we were having with a WP theme. We were able to expose issues with the theme to confirm our assumptions it is time to migrate to a new WP theme that is more compatible and supported by developers for PHP 8.0. Scott was patient, willing, and articulate and providing easy clear support.

GBDid a really stupid thing Did a really stupid thing. While cleaning up some really old email accounts, I deleted a very active email account. Support was able to restore it! Only one possible improvement -- I don't mind waiting my turn for support, but it's near impossible to NOT do anything else. It would be really helpful if you could find a way ring a bell or flash the text window when the tech is finally available.
