Highly recommend this software and the support! Heather was very responsive to my initial inquiry about the software. She also spent time with me by telephone showing me features in response to my specific questions. I was sold. We then worked out the cost of the product and made the purchase. This all happened in a couple of days. Heather then set me up with Tracie, a LeanLaw coach who showed me features in response to my specific questions. She gave me some set-up assignments and then reviewed what I had done to reassure me things were entered correctly. In short order I am now ready to perform my first monthly invoicing with LEDES capability. The software is logical and easy to use and the support is fabulous.

As an attorney entering time As an attorney entering time, the process is easy. It was easy to set up clients and to add expenses and time spent. It is awkward to use the calendar function because for me the time of day I do the work is not important and I often do work for client several times a day - so I either go back to an earlier time entry or hope that the system accumulates them all. I think it does. We are still too new to the billing system (generating invoices) to make a judgment, but thus far I am not impressed. The system generated invoice looks like it is coming from a utility, not a professional law firm - the big bold box with "amount due" and the snappy message at the end. I prefer a more subtle, but detailed statement of hours worked and net amount due after prior payments. I do not know if it was our staff or your system, but last week the system repeated charges on a bill - twice - even though the work was only done in December. That had to be caught before sent to the client.

Its a powerful piece of software but… Its a powerful piece of software but not always the most intuitive to navigate. I have learned to muddle my way through it. To be fair, billing is one of the least favorite aspects of my job.

Chat works I received help through the chat platform and then had a video call. I was unsure of the process initially, but I believe I received good and helpful responses through both methods. Also, the LL representative, Melissa, was patience, attentive, and thoughtful in her responses which allowed me to reach my solution in an efficient manner.

Lean Law is excellent Lean Law is excellent. We initially purchased QuickBooks for Lawyers. Totally unworkable. LL makes working with QBO super easy by doing all the work necessary to 'talk' to QB. The program itself is very easy to use and they have done all the work to make it talk to QBO. The LL team is professional, friendly, responsive; actually ask for feedback on what works and what we need. Thank you Lean Law!
