Avoid at all costs because it WILL cost you! We are a small business and gave Zenefits a try. When we very first started, implementation was great but once we were done with implementing it was/is frustration after frustration. We waited MONTHS, not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, almost 5 months to hear back from anyone in regard to our needs, questions and simple requests (ex: how to onboard an employee). We purchased Zenefits to help us. But it has not helped. It's cost us money, time, and more! Both HR and payroll have been a nightmare and headache. You can't speak with someone over the phone, everything is done through email by opening a "case/ticket". We fought tooth and nail with them about many of our concerns, questions and issues and it still took months and complaints in order for us to get someone to help us. All we ever asked is to get service for a service WE PAY FOR! Some things still haven't been addressed and some of the things that were "addressed", we later found out that they were done wrong and not in compliance to our state's laws! Zenefits is a rip off and can get your company sued. Stay away!

Great HR software Zenefits is a great HR software. We use it for payroll, timeclock, document storage, hiring/firing, etc. It integrates with our 401K and medical so that all rolls into our payroll seamlessly. I highly recommend this - we are smaller company without a separate HR dept and this has been a lifesaver for us.

HR & Payroll Made Simple! I am the HR Lead for a start up company which means everything is from scratch! Zenefits has helped make our HR and Payroll processes simple and efficient. Even when I forget a step because I wear multiple hats, they never fail to send me reminders to ensure we are successful and compliant with all processes. Always a great experience!

Affordable and Successful! We used Gusto for our business when we had 80 employees. After covid, we were lucky to even have the ability to reopen even at a smaller capacity, so we needed a more affordable provider who could give us at least the same great product. Zenefits was offering a very kind package to businesses who were suffering due to covid when we were looking to start up again. It was perfect timing. It took some adjusting getting used to Zenefits but are happy with the outcome so far! Happy that we can get help when we need it and happy that it works for us!

Highly intuitive one-stop HRIS We have been using Zenefits for a few years now for all of our payroll, benefit and PTO tracking needs. It has been a great tool and place to keep all employee history, documents and information stored. We are a fully remote company and have employees in 30+ states, and the ability to have Zenefits take care of all of the tax filings for all of the many accounts we have makes our lives so much easier. Everything is templated so that our hiring and onboarding is streamlined.
