My data is safe and stored online vs on a drive at my office or house. If something goes wrong I always know I have my copy with them as a backup no matter what. All in all a great service - been using them for a couple of yrs now and have no complaints. This service is simple and straight forward. After 4.5 years they suspended our account...beware of their business practices We were, until today, an ExaVault customer for 4.5 years, then they suspended our account for high bandwidth usage. Their service was being used for FTP back up of a cloud server instance at the IBM data center in Dallas (formally Softlayer). It was the same nightly automatic backup from a Plesk control panel for all 4.5 years. Very poor business practices I would not recommend them. We are moving our business to AWS. Easy, secure, flexible...and no training required. Our business has to create new FTP accounts all the time and ExaVault makes it as easy as possible. I'm a big fan of their easy-to-activate custom notifications that make sure everyone everyone is keep in the loop about the latest file activity. I also love how they're constantly improving the service and interface. ExaVault will have my business for years to come!

Hassle-free SFTP and FTP software as a service The point of SaaS is that the service provider worries about the details, so you don't have to, and ExaVault does a good job of that. ExaVault is a turnkey service that requires no technical knowledge to use. I've used it for a couple of years now, setting up SFTP accounts for hundreds of my customers, and it's been convenient and reliable. I find the price reasonable. There's been only one period of downtime, lasting a few hours. Creating and managing users and folders through the web-based portal is easy. Users have been able to connect using FTP and SFTP clients without any trouble. If you have an time-sensitive tech support need, be sure to send it to the email address designated for urgent requests. Requests via phone or website may wait for days. Once I get through to the right support department, they're always courteous and responsive. The good news is I've only needed to contact support three times in two years. Mostly, the service just works! I would recommend ExaVault to anyone who needs an FTP or SFTP server and doesn't want to deal with managing their own hardware and software.

Unjustified Huge Increase in Price with Little Notice The have been using ExaVault for some time and paying $20 per month. We were sent an email out of the blue recently saying that the annual subscription would now be $2,100! This is way beyond our budget and leaves us in a very difficult position, needing to restructure our IT, and our relationship with the 3rd parties at short notice. If this is how their customers are treated, they deserve 0 stars. I am trying to imaging what they would say to their providers if bills starting landing on their door mat with little notice and 500% increases in charges. We are small business with very low volume users, only transferring a few files a day, each nothing more than a csv file with a few lines of text. Very unimpressed.
