Paid for the premium service, got the trial instead. Paid for the premium service, never got to use any premium features. After paying and activating premium the software continues to countdown the trial days until expiration. Contacted support, they sent me a non https:// link with instructions to click and download an .exe file so they can enter my system remotely to have a look on what's going on... I'm sorry, what?! Still didn't got any refund by the way. Avoid Sophos. Waste of time.

No concept of customer service I had been using Reflection email filtering software for many years which came to 'end of life' on 31st March 2023. I asked Sophos what their suggested replacement was and they promised to get their 'senior CAM' to 'loop up' and 'reach out' to me (yuch!) in order to get one of their ISPs to sell me their new product. Incredibly 4 people were involved with this and surprise surprise - I never heard from them again. So that's there approach to customer service in a nutshell!

Garbage Garbage. Worked at first, but since early 2023 has increasingly slowed down my mac (which is kept up to date) and all its applications. Causes spinning beach balls. Crashes applications. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled. It was set it up as instructed. It was updated. All to no avail. On the last reinstall, it blocked all web access, so I couldn't even make changes to the web-based preference board. I had to uninstall it to get back online. Avoid this at all costs.

snail speed my job uses sophos for my remote security, absolutely atrocious. itll slow down your computer so much, not to mention the amount of apps it opens every day and keeps running in the background, i have 8 sophos apps running taking up 90% of my memory according to task manager. i really hate this software a lot lol

Signed up to a free trial of Sophos… Signed up to a free trial of Sophos Home Premium. As soon as the trial expired, more my traffic to more than 50% of websites started bing blocked. Needless to say I wasn't inspired with confidence so didn't convert to being a paid customer.
