GBBookpatch is a great vehicle for our press! Bookpatch is a great vehicle for our small press, and has made a difference in our ability to bring good work to an audience. Unlike with others, we can look at a small sample of a printed book to make final changes before ordering a lot fo copies. Yes — others give tear sheets, but the actual look and feel is missing. Also, the turnaround is good, and the overhead fees are relatively small.

GBNever have I dealt with this level of… Never have I dealt with this level of incompetence before. Not only were the illustrations not in color, they even had the pdf markings on them. Don't pay them with anything that won't be able to be re-credited for a refund, you'll need it. Use a local printer- you'll be better off. Just google one, they are every where. The BBB won't even acknowledge them-what does that tell you?

GBBeyond helpful and marvelous to a beginning author Both The Book Patch software and supporting staff have been most helpful as I bumble my way through the steep learning curve around self publishing. This is a very forgiving site because you can make a mistake, fix it and learn. There is no penalty for being a beginner. I am so grateful for the opportunity to see my works come to life.

GBAmazing prices Amazing prices, no minimum, so easy to use,everything was perfect. customer service was responsive and helpful. Compared to other places that I looked into for printing a pdf translation of a foreign only book, It would have costed more than double, or I would have had to print 10-100 books. The customization process was so simple too and well done. pretty fast print time.

GBFirst-time user of thebookpatch here First-time user of thebookpatch here. Printing was done quickly and my book was technically perfect except for a strange legibility issue. Inside it was like the type was gray. I put it under a microscope, and rather than solid black ink the letters are halftone. This is unacceptable. I expect the product to be as I designed it, and they cheated. Customer service is nowhere to be found. You can get a phone number off the home page, but I got a recording that didn't even go to voicemail. If you are signed in, the phone number is not displayed, there is no email link, and all you have is FAQs and some training videos. There isn't a scintilla of interaction with a human being, and therefore no accountability. Update: it has been two weeks since I left voicemail, zero contact in return.
