GBMy overall experience with Givebutter… My overall experience with Givebutter has been terrific! I'm impressed with the way the solution has grown in the almost two years since I started using it. Givebutter making the courageous decision to share the app for "free" has been a blessing for my little nonprofit. When I need Givebutter support, every rep has been prompt, courteous, and delivered a perfect solution. It's great that Givebutter has added so many modules like auctions and continues to add new features. However, there are some items that most of us low to midrange users need to be addressed: * The Giving Hub pages need to be configured to allow users to customize the pages so it can better integrate with users' existing web pages and provide a consistent experience across the three Giving Hub pages. * Those of us using ticketing need Givebutter to deliver on being able to assign a Fair Market Value to items. (see "Fair Market Value / Deductible Amount (per item/ticket)" and "Per-ticket customizable receipts" post which includes screen shots of a sample FMV implementation from a competing solution. When those issues are addressed, my review will absolutely be 5-STARS!

GBUse GiveButter if you want to LOSE money! We are a tiny, volunteer-run nonprofit organization that depends on fundraising to exist. We lost hundreds of dollars in potential donations--along with experiencing deep embarrassment at our event--due to GiveButter's admitted mobile platform glitch where our guests were not able to bid live on silent auction items at our event. We had a piece of artwork that went for grossly under its listed value due to the inability of people at our event to bid live. A river rafting package ended up going for only half of its value. The organizations that generously donated these items were appalled, and we were deeply embarrassed. Generally, the idea with a silent auction is that people are able to give, not get a deal. What could I tell them except that GiveButter screwed up. On top of that, I can't tell you how much time I have spent scrambling to recover with our guests and donors during a time when I should have been focused on thanking folks for their generosity. Getting any kind of customer service--during the glitch and after--was a joke. They have yet to apologize for the issue. Instead, they offered to refund our service fee plus a $69 "donation." I've spent literally hours trying to use their chat feature, and no one returns my emails. We are an extremely small nonprofit organization doing all we can to keep on our feet and keep our organization afloat. This silent auction was vital for our survival, and GiveButter flat out screwed us.

GBSo far, so good! We’ve only been using them for a few months, but are finding it feature-rich and easy to use. The onboarding session was helpful and has given us some ideas for events and fundraising activities.

GBGiveButter has been an incredible tool… GiveButter has been an incredible tool for our nonprofit! Plus, they do a lot of classes to ensure you are getting the most out of the platform, which I really appreciate. They are also responsive, which is so important. Double thumbs up for Givebutter!
