My stylist recommended Hair Story My stylist recommended Hair Story, and I really love the product. I spent a great deal of time researching the product before buying, and paid close attention to how to use the wash on my hair. For reference, my hair is normal, not dry or oily. The directions say to rinse, rinse, and rinse again, with a brush, which is exactly what I did. My hair has felt wonderful and stays clean for longer. Other reviewers have commented about the cost of Hair Story, and if you compare the costs of a both a high-end shampoo and conditioner, New Wash by Hair Story is actually less expensive.

Wish I read the reviews before purchasing! With high expectations invested top dollar for a small satchel of shampoo and the aftercare product for 'beach hair'UNDRESSED. The shampoo has been beyond underwhelming -I have long, layered, normally naturally amazing hair that became drab, lacking sheen entirely, and a scalp that's dank & greasy (I don't have greasy hair). Worst condition of my life (unfortunately!) UNDRESSED is a $60 version of a drug store product that has an identical effect. Very disappointed. Extremely.

obsessed!!! So happy I made the switch to their shampoo/conditioner combo. Literally the way my hair is completely tangle-free after air drying reminds me of the crazy futuristic hair dryer in The Hunger Games lol. I had no issues transitioning from my previous shampoo. I recently got highlights and after researching color-safe shampoos I came across Hairstory. I can go longer in between washes too which saves shower time and my hair is always soft after each wash. I got their bundle box and honestly would only recommend their shampoo/conditioner formula with the scalp scrubbing thing which feels nice. Dry shampoo powder smells like actual baby powder and their wax product doesn’t do much for me especially when going outdoors (maybe I’m not using it correctly).

Abysmal customer service Abysmal customer service. Order was supposed to take 2-5 days, I’m now being told it will take a month. Stopped replying when I asked to cancel my order. Just use a different product. This one is not special.

Good product, Awful customer service Really like the product - let me throw out other styling products (I bought the New Wash and the Dress Up product for heat protection/styling). It is extremely expensive and I have found the customer service HORRIFIC. I had a shipping issue and at some point they stopped responding. If they got their customer service sorted I might purchase from them again.
