An Excellent Choice As we had sold our house in South West France, we needed a company which we could rely on to move our belongings back to England and we found them - an absolutely professional friendly team at Matthew James Removals and Storage. What a superb performance. An on time collection, quick and efficient packing service with quality materials. All of which were delivered flawlessly at the date and time agreed. Their communication was great, they did everything they said they would when they said they would. My move was from the UK to Madrid using their packing service and the shared load service. The guys packing the load in the UK and unloading in Madrid were brilliant - I had several very fragile items - everything arrived in absolutely perfect condition. Professional and Efficient Matthew James helped make the planning of our international move a stress free experience from the very first phone call. Adjustments to our needs were dealt with swiftly and when they turn up in their gorgeously airbrushed vans you know you're in good hands. While having the final delivery their driver told me how well the owner looks after his employees, making them feel part of a family. First class service and everything you want from a removals company, or indeed any company.

French move Initially the experience was one to forget. Poor communication, long wait for belongings to arrive. Not a lot of customer empathy. However after my son directly phoned Dartford head office things did pick up, literally and figuratively. Belongings were delivered by two stalwart gentlemen who entirely turned a bad experience into a good one.

Very efficient when collecting our… Very efficient when collecting our furniture but not so good at the delivery end in Spain. They resolved an issue about an item that was damaged and arranged for it to be replaced
