He took the time to answer all my questions and explain things when my questions were repeated. He returned my every call and that set me at ease. The quote was in tune with the initial estimate and fairly re-adjusted when things and weight were added. The pickup and loading guys were exceptional. This was turned over to another van lines of which was explained to me. The truck they packed was different than the one that arrived with my items. This was explained that the other truck was being serviced. The delivery and unloading guys were equally as professional and courteous. All the individuals loading and unloading were probably in varying degrees of spanish decent. All were pleasant and we were able to understand each other without incident. I would recommend and used Colonial Van Lines again.

I was not on the loading end of the… I was not on the loading end of the move, however I was on the receiving end of the move. Avi was incredible. A box was lost and he found it and hand delivered it to us! Best mover we’ve ever had.

No horror story There are so many horror stories out there about moving companies that I went in to my cross country move with huge doubts. Everyone I spoke to at colonial was helpful and attentive. My movers were from Best Movers and were great. I got exactly what I paid for with no damage to any of my items. Pick up and delivery was orderly and efficient. I could not have asked for a better experience. From Texas to North Carolina.

6/2023 move from FL to VA I used Colonial Van Lines for a move from Florida to Virginia. They kept in touch as my move-out and move-in date approached. They also called to verify if my things were picked up/dropped off. The moving company they contracted were timely and arrived in the time window they provided, and also notified me when they were nearby. I felt they were very transparent with the price and there were no extra surprise fees. Maybe only some minor damage to furniture (some chips on bed frame, slightly bent end table) but it was also a long move.

Everything moved in one piece When I contacted Colonial Van Lines, I was assigned to the Re-Moving America team and was satisfied with the service they provided. I had some minor concerns with the communication of the exact pickup and delivery dates (provided as a window, which I understand is the industry standard). I also would have preferred to know the location of my belongings during transit across the country. Finally, I was surprised that the final cost was 50% above the estimate (which I guess is a consistent challenge in the moving industry). Yet I was very impressed with the follow-up provided by the Resolutions Department, who reached out to me to discuss my concerns. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable.
