He took the time to answer all my questions and explain things when my questions were repeated. He returned my every call and that set me at ease. The quote was in tune with the initial estimate and fairly re-adjusted when things and weight were added. The pickup and loading guys were exceptional. This was turned over to another van lines of which was explained to me. The truck they packed was different than the one that arrived with my items. This was explained that the other truck was being serviced. The delivery and unloading guys were equally as professional and courteous. All the individuals loading and unloading were probably in varying degrees of spanish decent. All were pleasant and we were able to understand each other without incident. I would recommend and used Colonial Van Lines again.

Everything moved in one piece When I contacted Colonial Van Lines, I was assigned to the Re-Moving America team and was satisfied with the service they provided. I had some minor concerns with the communication of the exact pickup and delivery dates (provided as a window, which I understand is the industry standard). I also would have preferred to know the location of my belongings during transit across the country. Finally, I was surprised that the final cost was 50% above the estimate (which I guess is a consistent challenge in the moving industry). Yet I was very impressed with the follow-up provided by the Resolutions Department, who reached out to me to discuss my concerns. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable.

Interstate move Despite inclement weather on the day of our move, overall experience has been great. Movers were professional, courteous and highly efficient. CVL staff were equally great, especially Zach V. We would recommend CVL to anyone considering a long-distance move.

They took extra care wrapping and moving everything I had not boxed. They covered my hardwood floors to prevent scratches and scarring. They were in contact with me. They also took extra care unloading. I am happy I chose Colonial Van Lines. The cost was reasonable. I highly recommend this company.
