Excellent experience Excellent experience. This is the second time I have rented from Self Storage 1. Bianca and Shounice were so helpful in assisting me with picking the right unit and ensuring all my questions were answered.

This is one of the best Storage with a wonderful staff. This is one of the best Storage facilities in Chicago. They really helped me, and make each process very simple. They showed me multiple units, and treated me with great service above and beyond. The whole team of women there are amazing. I had a bad experience there under the previous management, but they switched management a few years back and they have been truly spectacular. The fact that you can use the truck for free when renting a storage from them is wonderful.

Ciera Humphrey, at the front desk, was SO helpful!! Ciera Humphrey at the desk was excellent in assisting me during the move out process. She worked quickly and efficiently when providing me with the paperwork to fill out in order to move out of my unit. She was very clear and articulate on the terms of the move out and the refund process. The best service I could have received during this process. I would recommend anyone to use Self Storage 1 in the future, especially with Ciera running the desk.

Impossible to reach, terrible customer service I’ve had a terrible experience at Self Storage 1- The customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. There’s no way to contact the office directly, instead I’ve had to call the phone number, leave a message, and wait around hoping for a call back. They’re uncommunicating and purposefully misleading. I’m still waiting for a response to confirm that they will stop charging me for a unit I moved out of months ago.

I love the culture of EXCELLENCE! Excellent customer service! Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly. All emails were answered promptly. Communication was clear and to the point. Loved my experience. Will use Self Storage 1 again!
