This was the worst move of my life This was the worst move of my life, a nightmare. a) Bait and switch -- quoted a flat rate price, the final payment due only AFTER delivery and my satisfaction. My items were held hostage with owner of Monster Movers saying he'd confiscate all my items unless I paid extra fees b) Thousands of dollars in damage c) Movers threatened me, chased me trying to take my phone to delete photos of damaged items I took for claim c) One mover exposed himself to me d) They stacked up boxes and trapped me in bedroom then left for lunch, leaving door open - without telling me. I called owner and said I need to use bathroom and movers must come back and clear the path for me. He refused. i had no choice but to push items out of the way and in so doing tore / pulled ligaments in back. Still in treatment for this one year later e) Submitted a claim with their insurance company (I had a COI with 1,000,000 limit). They responded that they bear no responsibility for ANY of the issues. THE COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS

Highly recommended Can’t recommend this company highly enough. I was desperate to have goods removed from a cleared garage the same day. They turned up at the agreed time and loaded everything quickly and efficiently. They were polite and helpful and did the job without any fuss. Price was also very reasonable. I would happily recommend them to anyone and would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks to the team I now have got rid off a huge amount of rubbish and have an almost empty garage. Thank you.

Florida to Boston move in the 108… Florida to Boston move in the 108 degree temps at both the load and offload made for 2 horrid days of moving but the movers and driver were amazing and office staff was attentive to our needs A+

Horrible Communication- do not use The lack of communication within this company made for an extremely stressful move. I was given a 3-day pick up window (wanted to charge $150 to let us know the day) and was told I would get a call the afternoon before they came. I called the day before my 3-day window for an update, was told the movers would call the day before so of they didn't call that afternoon then they wouldn't be there the following day. Didn't get a call until the following morning that they would be there in an hour!! We had to do a mad dash to finish packing our kitchenwares and it was a total mess. Now I have to hope for the best that I get communication for drop off in time to reserve the loading dock or it will be another $600 for shuttling our stuff. Absolute trash communication and would recommend going elsewhere.

Monster Movers Reviews Our family had a super complicated move and the office at Monster Movers is hands down the best in Massachusetts. First, the people who answer the phones are super friendly and informative. All of the other companies reminded me of online dating. As soon as I told them I wasn't interested they jumped all over me telling me I was a horrible person "wasting their time" then they called me every day even though I told them to stop. Monster Movers packed all of our furniture, stored it for 3 months while we finished our house, and delivered. The move was flawless. We were initially worried because it took longer but they had climate storage and the furniture was protected properly. The only issue were 2 smooshed boxes that my husband packed but supposedly he was not supposed to leave air in the boxes so not sure who's fault that really is.
