GBBE VERY WARY OF USING FREIGHTCENTER Our customer shipped a crate of equipment back to us. They dropped it off at the Roadrunner Terminal and had the Terminal Manager sign and write their phone number on the FreightCenter shipping document. They lost the crate roughly 9 months ago. We made a claim through FreightCenter and they have largely ignored us. They say they spoke with the terminal manager and nothing was ever dropped off so there is no claim. What we would like most is to get our equipment back but FreightCenter says even though we have sent them all of the documentation they have repeatedly come back saying we don't have documentation. It is very frustrating and disappointing to have them constantly shift the blame and take no responsibility for the problem. They taught the fact that they carrier full insurance so that if anything happens you are covered - this is blatantly untrue. If they actually had insurance this issue could have been resolved months ago. BE VERY WARY OF USING FREIGHTCENTER, THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD AND WILL NOT HELP YOU IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR SHIPMENT. After review of FreightCenter's response I would like to add that FreightCenter was paid in full for the shipment that was lost and very conveniently cannot seem to help in any useful way - but at least they made money so why should they care?

GBWe hired this company to ship… We hired this company to ship equipment, told us they could, even gave me the perfect description of what the package was exactly, the company they hired got there and said they couldn't do it. Provided no proof or details as to why. FreightCenter called us back to charge us nearly double what the first freight company said so we hired someone else. Now this lying company is charging 20% to cancel because of their incompetency!!!! I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere!!!! Rebecca in customer service who says she's a manager is just as incompetent!!!!!!!!!!

GBDon't leave a payment method on file cuz they will charge you several months after the fact for discrepancys that can't be double checked any longer Everything was fine until I was charged an additional 240 dollars 4 months after delivery of the shipment for a discrepancy with the weight of the shipment. They should've charged me at the time of delivery or shortly after ....not 4 months later. Seems like preditory billing to me. Now I can't check the weight of the shipment myself.

GBBELIEVE ALL OF THESE 1 STAR… BELIEVE ALL OF THESE 1 STAR REVIEWS!!!!! We hired FreightCenter to deliver a front clip for a ’73 Corvette to us. FreightCenter was the lowest quote for the shipment and you know the saying….you get what you pay for…we must have bought a circus! The vendor who we purchased the clip from built a pallet within the dimensions that were quoted from FreightCenter for the shipping rate of $852. When the clip was delivered to my husband’s business, my husband used his forklift to unload the pallet. The driver quickly came up to my husband while he was still sitting on the forklift and asked him to sign a delivery receipt. RED FLAG!! Upon inspection, my husband found that the clip was cracked in 2 places. He reached out to FreightCenter about this and received no response. The driver must have known the clip was damaged, and he got the heck out of there before my husband could get off the forklift! About a week later, a charge of $706 was posted to our credit card account. According to FreightCenter, this was due to the shipment being over the agreed dimensions. We have provided photos of the measurements of the pallet and the clip showing that it is within the agreed/contracted dimensions. We disputed that charge through our bank, and it was removed. About 6 weeks later, FreightCenter decided to declare that this was a limited access delivery and that charge was posted to our credit card for $706….what a coincidence…same amount as before?! We have received no response from FreightCenter for an explanation. We have attempted to reach them via email and phone call. They must be too busy adding extra, unauthorized charges to other customer accounts and can’t get around to responding to us. At this time, we are disputing the charge through our bank. As evidence, we have emails showing no effort from FreightCenter to acknowledge our questions or their error. The time and effort to address this situation has been ridiculous. Please save yourself from being ripped off and having to chase after the mess that is created by FreightCenter. It’s a total circus and nobody has time for all that. Hire another company to ship your freight – don’t hire these clowns.
