Find a competent carrier I had three pallets of freight, all well organized, shrink wrapped and banded. All three pallets had been dropped, and one, containing metal file cabinets, had obviously had extremely heavy objects dropped on top of it, causing dents so deep in the top that it is now impossible to open. The contents will now have to be removed by using a grinder to cut the tops of the file cabinets off. One item was also missing from that pallet. There was a report of transit damage to an intermediate freight center, but I was not informed until I called and asked. I never saw the report. The response from ABF, after my sending damning photo documentation, was a query about the estimated weight of the damaged objects. I received a check for $20.00.

Please TELL your drivers you don't get peoples business with your name on the side of a speeding vehicle. I am considering you get the load to it's destination early? That's not a plus for the people you endanger with your lack of consideration. AGAIN, please TELL your drivers to slow down in small neighborhoods... with no sidewalks, and narrow streets...
