former customer The manager, DEZ, at Cubesmart DT McKinney,TX is a 5 star in my view. The gate has had a lot of issues as of late, but I found that the rent increase was definitely outrageous. Started at $70 a month and ended at $292 a month. To me this is an outrageous increased amount. So that being said, I cleared out my climate control unit and I am currently sorting through the stored items in order to not have this kind of increase on a loyal customer again. I will use Cubesmart in the future but hope management takes the following into consideration. I think there should be contracts for those of us that will pay our bills and support your business.

My truck was vandalized as someone was… My truck was vandalized as someone was trying to steal it. Definitely an inside job. Security system has been down for months. so we’re paying for 24 hour security and getting none. Four months ago I rented a storage unit… Four months ago I rented a storage unit at the CubeSmart in Aransas Pass, TX at a rate of $113/mo for the first 4 months. After that the rate was supposed to increase to the normal rate that was 35% higher. Yesterday I received notice that the new rate is $250/mo—135% higher! I called the site manager in Aransas Pass who said it was a corporate decision and nothing could be done. Clearly, CubeSmart is running a bait and switch operation suckering people like me with a low introductory rate then sticking it to us. Do not rent from these unethical slime balls.

Ive ventured into my storage with 3 different thermometers .temp has varied from 95 degrees to 110 degrees. OTHER renters & myself have spoken with coorperate mgrs with big titles, have e mailed ,texted,complained,contacted BBB as our contents melt in this hell box. Its inhumane to hire movers as that would be torture!. And the upper mgement continues to lie about when it will be fixed!!!l What Business in LVstays open without Air? The smell of mouse urine is overwhelming. Do not use this storage company. You will be charged to have your belongings destroyed. Shameful.
