The smell of mouse urine is overwhelming. Do not use this storage company. You will be charged to have your belongings destroyed. Shameful.

Four months ago I rented a storage unit… Four months ago I rented a storage unit at the CubeSmart in Aransas Pass, TX at a rate of $113/mo for the first 4 months. After that the rate was supposed to increase to the normal rate that was 35% higher. Yesterday I received notice that the new rate is $250/mo—135% higher! I called the site manager in Aransas Pass who said it was a corporate decision and nothing could be done. Clearly, CubeSmart is running a bait and switch operation suckering people like me with a low introductory rate then sticking it to us. Do not rent from these unethical slime balls.

Ive ventured into my storage with 3 different thermometers .temp has varied from 95 degrees to 110 degrees. OTHER renters & myself have spoken with coorperate mgrs with big titles, have e mailed ,texted,complained,contacted BBB as our contents melt in this hell box. After our toy-hauler was broken into we asked about the cameras....answer was, oh, sorry we don't have them or they weren't working in the area we rented. I'm writing this while "on hold" for their SureSmart/Great American Insurance customer service; 20 mins and holding. I detest companies with "America" in their name that have horrible service, do better or get out of business!
