GBIncrease rent 50$ every 3 months Same as many others. Don’t rent here because they lure you in with discount then jack up price 50$ because as the district manager stated they don’t need to be customer client focused if we leave they can rent it again easy. They have zero client loyalty he said price is market driven and the computer runs it all. Nice anti-customer marketing. I have 3 units and what do I do Now but write reviews hoping to help others not to be swindled

GBExorbitant frequent rate increases For the past three years CubeSmart has been raising the rent exhorbantly every 6-12 months. Roughly 3 times the rate of inflation. Greed is the only reason for increases of this magnitude. I will move out just because of this. I had even asked about rate increases upon signing. Their response was small and infrequent which was a lie. No wonder they would not provide longer term contracts. My advice is find a different provider.

GBFour months ago I rented a storage unit… Four months ago I rented a storage unit at the CubeSmart in Aransas Pass, TX at a rate of $113/mo for the first 4 months. After that the rate was supposed to increase to the normal rate that was 35% higher. Yesterday I received notice that the new rate is $250/mo—135% higher! I called the site manager in Aransas Pass who said it was a corporate decision and nothing could be done. Clearly, CubeSmart is running a bait and switch operation suckering people like me with a low introductory rate then sticking it to us. Do not rent from these unethical slime balls.

GBVery accessible location Very accessible location, very close to my office, so it's a very comfortable arrangement for me. Sometimes the customer service could be better, but usually, it is great. Who knows, maybe someone had a bad day. Prices are very fair too.

GB(9/27/2023) Rented a storage unit at… (9/27/2023) Rented a storage unit at their Riverview, FL facility. During the finalization of completing the Agreement on-line, it turns out that they require you to purchase one of their locks for $19.99. The only way to not purchase the lock is to go into the local office and waste your time completing the Agreement and have them remove the Mandatory lock purchase. So, much for being convenient!
