Watch OUT! Extra Space Storage 11440 Blankenbaker Access Dr Louisville, KY 40299 Move in time - at that initial stage they have VERY nice customer service, VERY helpful office staff, decent folks. But WATCH OUT - rent raise, rent raise, rent raise, rent raise.... oh yeah, don't forget another rent raise! Every few (about three, I figure) months, they would rather rent to new folks at "Special Rate" and then STICK IT to folks that have been paying their bills (for months and counting on them for safe secure storage), who then mostly move out and down the road - after we're talking 30%, 40% - and for second attempt in three months - a 50% increase. They'll tell ya it's a "market driven" rent raise - REALLY? BS - I'm out first chance possible (and it's not easy, I get it), but their turnstile, unpredictable and lack of ANY appreciation for longevity/payment history business model is horrible for consumers. BEWARE - your RENT RAISE is coming VERY soon!

Business Model is a Scam Houston, Katy Fwy location. Agree that they bait you with special rates and double it next month! They called me in saying that there was a foul smell coming from my unit and when we went to check we had to cut the lock because for some reason my keys didn’t work and I had to buy a new lock for $20. Nothing was wrong with my unit other than the lock not working and there was NO SMELL. Very weird experience. Cannot understand why my keys did not work. I plan to move out soon.

RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK Have not been long at this place and rates were almost doubled after 3 months and then I receive a call that they "accidently cut my lock" how do you accidently cut a.lock? and then a few months later I placed a cover over my rv to have it stolen right under their nose during "business hours" called to get some information and was refused stating they never had a problem before as if it is my fault DO NOT RENT HERE

Rodent infestation. Rodent infestation. We hired a company to move all my new and well-sealed boxes. One day I went to do an inventory to get rid of the things we had there and to our surprise our furniture was filled with rodent poop or something rolling. Rusty boxes by rodents. A complete disaster and total contamination of our things. The site manager was indifferent to our complaint. Because we had a month to month contract. The customer service of this location is hostile and have poor respect for clients and client belongings.

Rent went from $283 per month to $319… Rent went from $283 per month to $319 per month without me receiving any notice. They say a notification was sent in the mail, which I never received. When I called, they said, "The contract states they can increase my rent at any time." Everything else is by email. I wonder why they use mail instead of electronically notifying you.
