Walked in virtually with no heads up or warning was met with the most courteous and upbeat person who told us all and showed us what we needed to know. And once unit was picked, when she asked for the address we reside in she then told us of a closer location to where we are. She was extremely helpful and loaded with personality. Rude with Rats! I had a contract with Home Star Storage. The facility was sold to Store Space Storage and that where the problems started. My rent jumped from 106 to 195 in less than 12 months. Insurance was added to my rent without even checking if I had insurance for the unit. Finally, the storage units had rats infestation. The location never reached out to the me (or anyone) to make them aware of the infestation. They were rude and I was told on several occasions the district manager would reach out to me. That never happened, Annoy Store Space Storage at all cost!

Worst company ever! Worst company ever!! Had my storage payment set up automatically to come out on the 5th every month. They decided to put my payments through on the 1st which caused overdraft fees, then they were supposed to send a letter to give my bank so I could be credited back to my account. That never happened either. I've had my storage unit for 4 1/2 years and I've never had so many issues. I started paying $80 a month it has now increased to over $180 a month. It's actually cheaper to buy your own unit compared to renting through this company.

Beware STORESPACE storespace owned the location at 381 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Mableton,GA. when they took the space over from Selfstorage in 2021, Storespace RAISED the rent $50 with NO warning. Storespace has sold the property to Lifestorage in June 2022. I have moved out because, my unit has been inhabited with RATS in my unit; and homeless people living in the vacant units. How can you NOT know (if you have active cameras like you say you do) you have a large population of RATS and homeless in your units. I have had to file a claim against Lifestorage because STORESPACE has left a mess for them without taking care of the pest problem. Beware STORESPACE Self Storage.
