GBIVL: Loss, Damage and Theft I contracted with International Van Lines based on positive online reviews. I moved from PA to CA in March 2019. Their staff did over $2,000 worth of damage to my antique wood furniture, lost boxes of china, crystal, family heirlooms, and some old jewelry and silver went missing (even though the cases and stands these items were in arrived). After paying $15,000 for the move (much demanded in cash), my loss is estimated at $25,000. I was offered $500 if I signed their release form (which I refused to do), and am now said to be due around $100. The communication was terrible once I signed and sent the deposit, as was almost everything else. DO NOT USE INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES.

GBPushy sales guy “Nico” We are moving overseas. My wife called this company for a quote and instead of them explaining how it was all going to work, the sales guy simply pressured her for 2k on our credit card. He said that they were “at capacity” and that we needed to pay now to “reserve a spot”. B’bye! Goes to show that even though the CEO seems has such an inspirational story, it doesn’t always translate to good customer service. By the way, they do 80% shipping in the USA. So much for “international”.

GBThey use workers hired that morning from the HD parking lot Do not use this company! They just hire a cheap local contractor who will do a crappy job and keep your money. My delivery crew was literally hired that morning from the local Home Depot parking lot. While this inexperienced crew damaged all my crap, the driver just sat in the truck and did nothing. Over $5k in damage and they just left everything by the front door. Didn't reassemble any of my furniture. And then just lied and made excuses during the complaint process. Actually said they sympathized with the driver while admitting he violated company policy. Save your money and your stuff and hire someone else.

GBI hired international van lines for a… I hired international van lines for a move from Wisconsin to Missouri. I was assured during the deposit process my move wouldn’t take longer than 7 days despite the contract mandating 21 days (seems like that was just a formality). We only saved 1,000 from hiring a local company. That 1,000 was not worth it. It has been so stressful, they seem understaffed, etc. just go local- when it is such a stressful time in your life, it isn’t worth going with this company.

GBLying Long Distance Mover IVL implied 7 day delivery of my household goods from pickup day of Jan 23, 2023, but it's going to be at least Feb 9th or 10th - nearly 3 weeks and no guarantees then. They're hiding behind the Federal rule that gives them 21 days (and I believe they are erroneously saying 21 business days instead of calendar days and doing some tricks for when they say the 21 days begins. No concern for hardship they are putting their clients to. I've moved across country 4 times and have NEVER incurred this kind of delay with other carriers! As far as I'm concerned they are as bad as a lot of other movers, and I would not recommend them at all.
