Make sure you talk to the contractors ahead of time because IVL does not care. Extra services contracted via IVL - like moving a precious piano - we are still waiting for that to be completed....

The final price was 20 percent more… The final price was 20 percent more than the estimate. They add on loads of fees for rolling up a driveway or down a hall. Like $600 more for a small apartment move. Then you must pay by venmo or cash to the driver who just takes this money.

“Churn and Burn” They're shady at best. They will take your money and run. Luckily, I did not get scammed. I've read the trust pilot reviews after receiving a quote. Total Con I used this company. On moving day they demanded 6000 more than their binding estimate. Since you have paid 25% upfront and it is no refundable,little choice,classic bait and switch. Once they got your money your calls go to voicemail. Burn you furnature in a non fire rather than use this company.

IVL: Loss, Damage and Theft I contracted with International Van Lines based on positive online reviews. I moved from PA to CA in March 2019. Their staff did over $2,000 worth of damage to my antique wood furniture, lost boxes of china, crystal, family heirlooms, and some old jewelry and silver went missing (even though the cases and stands these items were in arrived). After paying $15,000 for the move (much demanded in cash), my loss is estimated at $25,000. I was offered $500 if I signed their release form (which I refused to do), and am now said to be due around $100. The communication was terrible once I signed and sent the deposit, as was almost everything else. DO NOT USE INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES.
