GBI hired international van lines for a… I hired international van lines for a move from Wisconsin to Missouri. I was assured during the deposit process my move wouldn’t take longer than 7 days despite the contract mandating 21 days (seems like that was just a formality). We only saved 1,000 from hiring a local company. That 1,000 was not worth it. It has been so stressful, they seem understaffed, etc. just go local- when it is such a stressful time in your life, it isn’t worth going with this company.

INAccommodating and always pleasant. Moving is very stressful, but International Van Lines sure made things easier! I would give them ten stars if I could! They were accommodating and always pleasant, and they showed up ON TIME and were ready to work. The workers are VERY STRONG and had no problem moving our safe and appliances down a spiral staircase.

PHHorrible customer service! Horrible customer service!! they lost out on $35,000 and I got my deposit back for failure to take care of the customer as stipulated in the contract. So USE It to your advantage if needed! Moving from Asia, the Philippine customs demanded a notarized letter from me before they would allow me to ship my PERSONAL HOUSEHOLD GOODs. Pure ignorance but I told IVL to type up a PROFESSIONAL letter for them and I would take it and have it notarized and signed. Easy yes?? LOL not for these monkeys. 1 st Nico refused, so I asked for his boss, he lied and said he doesn't have 1. Then Jason jumps in the conversation says its illegal for them to type a letter.. AGAIN another lie. Show me an owner, president or boss who types their own letters. It's the secretary or ??? . SO i demanded my deposit back and he refused so I said, u are in breach of contract my attorney will deal with u. 3 days later I got my FULL deposit. Suggestion, this is a company that obviously does not care that it loses money, so there4 obviously does not care about customer support. GOOD LUCK

GBEverything was going great, then silence… Everything was going great and according to plan until the person who is supposed to send updates on the arrival of my possessions in London went radio silent. It’s been four months since the movers picked up my stuff and I received one update about two months ago. Four emails requesting an update have gone unanswered. I understand that the war and covid are causing delays. But can’t they just write me????

GBLying Long Distance Mover IVL implied 7 day delivery of my household goods from pickup day of Jan 23, 2023, but it's going to be at least Feb 9th or 10th - nearly 3 weeks and no guarantees then. They're hiding behind the Federal rule that gives them 21 days (and I believe they are erroneously saying 21 business days instead of calendar days and doing some tricks for when they say the 21 days begins. No concern for hardship they are putting their clients to. I've moved across country 4 times and have NEVER incurred this kind of delay with other carriers! As far as I'm concerned they are as bad as a lot of other movers, and I would not recommend them at all.
