Got the job done but not great I will say that everything was moved as warranted. However, the quote that I was promised versus what I was actually charged was different. On top of that, the movers, once at my new place charged me an additional fee and expected me to pay on the spot. Overall I'm satisfied my stuff was moved (pretty low bar) but am very disappointed in the vagueness of pricing and added fees charged to me by the movers. I would not recommend this service because of these issues.

My furniture was horribly damaged My furniture was horribly damaged. They sent someone to "repair" it, and he showed up with a plastic bag full of furniture paint he bought at the store on his way here. He was incompetent and was unable to even improve the deep gashes and scratch marks on all my major furniture. I have been trying to get a response for a year, without any acceptable help. Unpakt was not helpful in addressing the problem. Unpakt arranged the unsatisfactory moving company that moved me and damaged my furniture. Given they apparently do not vet the movers they recommend, or help mitigate the damage, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

UNPAKT IS PAID DIRECTLY FOR THE MOVE FROM THE CUSTOMER AND THE ACTUAL CARRIER WHO COMPLETES THE MOVE HAS TO WAIT MONTHS TO BE PAID FROM UNPAKT. WHEN YOU CALL ABOUT YOUR MONEY THEY JUST SAY SEND THEM AN EMIL. AFTER 5 EMAILS I HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONSE AND STILL WAITING TO BE PAID!

Unpakt is trying to scam customers. Do not use! To be clear, this review is for Unpakt, rather than the moving company. The moving company was great but the Unpakt customer rep I spoke to was rude and abusive. After the move, I was randomly charged $300 because the Unpakt woman told me that the movers had to switch to a smaller truck to deliver my furniture. I contacted the movers directly and they told me that they did not switch and had not asked Unpakt to charge me. While I was successful in getting my refund eventually, it seems obvious to me that Unpakt was just trying to scam me out of $300, since the movers weren't even aware that this fee was charged post move. On top of that, every interaction with the Unpakt customer rep was a nightmare. She was rude and abusive and unwilling to listen to reason. Don't use Unpakt unless you are looking to get scammed!
