GBProof that the reviews on their site only show positive ones I posted this one-star review on 31 January 2024 on the Grisport site: "I ordered two pairs of the Trident shoe in size 43 and 44 on 8 January 2024. The 44 were much too large but the 43 were ok. I tested them at length inside my flat and double-checked they fit in various ways according to online guides - thick socks, end of the day, room for a finger down the back etc. All was fine so I wore them outside but when I walked down slopes my big toes were very painful. I've tried a few times with no improvement. This is an issue I've never had with walking shoes before. Grisport wouldn't do a refund once I'd worn them outside, only a discount if I bought a further pair, so now I'm left with unusable shoes. I wouldn't order online again for this reason." I have a screenshot of the 26 reviews of the Trident shoe taken on 7 February 2024. My review isn't there. If my review was showing it would have been about '8 days ago', so placed between the pair of reviews from 2 days ago (John Noton and John Calder), and the older reviews from Anonymous and Neil Quarmby. This proves they are not putting negative reviews on their website, an accusation I've seen elsewhere. It's a shame, because I used Which? as a recommendation to choose them, and they didn't mention their very variable feedback on Trustpilot. I definitely wouldn't use them again, and won't buy walking shoes/boots online.

GB2 months and falling apart. Bought some wide fit boots on the recommendation of my orthopaedic surgeon (recommended grisport) 2 months later the leather is coming away from the soles, not what you'd expect for £120 , grisport will not do anything to rectify this or even acknowledge that itd happened. Terrible customer service.

GBWorst boots I’ve ever owned… Worst boots I’ve ever owned continuously causing pain and blisters, I’ve always been a hiker wearing quality sock and boots, but these boots are terrible. The only thing worse than the boots is the customer service, they point you in the direction of the retailer who in turn point you back to Grisport. Simply don’t buy Grisport boots the company are a disgrace and don’t want to know. Also they probably won’t show this review as they only publish positive reviews, but I will post this review on as many walking sites as I can find people need to know!!

GBI've bought Grisport Ranger boots twice… I've bought Grisport Ranger boots twice because they look great and wear great. My current pair are about 7 years old and get used almost daily walking dogs through muddy fields and along beaches in all weathers. They are still very comfortable and don't let the water in, my last pair were just as reliable. I've worn Meindls, Red Wings, Timberlands etc. These are the only boots that I've bought the exact same twice, if I live long enough I'll buy a third pair. Absolutely recommended.

GBVery sad to see the negative reviews. Very sad to see the negative reviews. I recently bought a pair of chieftain boots (£115) from the clearance department and they are comfy straight out of the box, I've only done a few miles in them, so time will tell. The process, contacted customer service Tuesday night about sizing, they emailed back Wednesday morning, I had a think about it and ordered Thursday night and my new boots arrived on Saturday morning with a couple of free gifts too, 2 pairs of merino socks and a water flask/ bottle. Personally I can't fault Grisport, fingers crossed tho' as I said before, time will tell.
