We are so glad that we found Linwood We are so glad that we found Linwood. The web site is fantastic which we used to help pick out our new cottage. We went with one of the models on the site and had Linwood modified the plan a bit to our suit our needs. They looked after all the engineering, materials - windows, shingles and things I would never had thought about ...The staff was excellent. They helped us through the process but most importantly, quality of wood is 5 stars. TOP quality just like they said. I would have given five stars except for how the material is shipped. Unloading a sea container full of lumber was a bit of hassle.

Rebuilding my fire-destroyed cabin with a Linwood Ho It was necessary to demolish my cabin in B.C. that burned in 2016 because what remained was not up to code. I saw the display Linwood Home in Calgary and thought it looked and felt like my previous cabin. All that remained of my cabin was the foundation and Maya Zimmerman and made a trip out to the site to ensure it would accommodate a version of the display cabin in Calgary. All building supplies neccessary were sent to the site from Vancouver I am absolutely delighted with my new cabin and thank Linwood Homes for providing an excellent product. Great value for the cost. Beautiful Retirement Home Beautiful Retirement Home Very happy with the material that arrived on site. Being first time home builders we missed some small details on the drawing regarding the exterior finish (siding not going down to grade level on some walls) leaving an unfinished appearance. We used the Linwood area rep to build the home, installers did a good job, but would have been nice to know that only 3 guys would be building the whole home. Took longer than we were expecting which effected the schedule of other contractors. We did appreciate that we could arrange our own contractors for the interior finishes (electrican, plumber etc).

This is a quality, customer-centric company! So pleased!. Linwood helped us accomplish our build in ways we never foresaw. Having their (excellent) design team on staff to customize our plans saved us architect fees. Using their engineer (who helped get us through permitting) saved us time, hassle and money. Our framers said 1 panel was 1/16th off, the the entire rest of our house fit like a glove. Amy and the rest of the staff supported us - like all jobs, little things go wrong, and this company put their reputation before profits, making every thing more than right. We're not quite moved in yet, but finished with the Linwood part of our build. I'm already looking to use them again for a cabin, and our GC is hoping to build a Linwood on his next spec home.

Good package/bad builder! Linwood package was excellent. Good design, very detailed plans, ample very good quality material supplied. Foundation contractor did a great job on very difficult terrain. Framing was not so great. Beams cut too short and off level, columns missing or missplaced, floor joist run wrong direction and more. .Ie contractor did not seem to understand post and beam construction or be able to read plans. Over all quality of workmanship was poor. Next time I'll buy the package from Linwood and find my own contractor to build.
