I thought this was going to be a good…but it. Was the worst!!! I thought this was going to be a good experience. They shipped my order too early, and then had it sit in a warehouse in Jacksonville for over 6 weeks. When they finally shipped it to my house, my installer said it was dry, warped, discolored, and in such bad shape he would not accept the delivery. It was sent back to Advantage and they charged me 7000 dollars for shipping and restocking. I am disputing this amount with my credit card company, American Express. I would not use them and if you want to call me I will share my experience with you. 305-803-7528.

I have spent over 10k on IPE wood and… I have spent over 10k on IPE wood and have made 3 orders to Advantage Lumber. The customer service is awful and delivery times are significant. When asking when an order will arrive, I have been always answered with a cryptic answer " Our order lead times are unto 14 business days and from then it is unto the carrier". I experienced additional issues and problems when asking about board split/cracking and was met with an immediate and defensive customer service rep. I could not even finish a sentence before this guy finished what I was trying to say...The first question "where did you store your wood? Thats why it cracked, did you read our website and policy?... These guys are a marketing machine drop shipping from several locations and don't care once your payment is made.

Good and Bad - BLACK ipe Good and Bad. We had a large shipment and everything went great with zero waste or issues. The next order to finish the project was about half the size and maybe 25% was unusable mainly due to color as IPE was BLACK, and way outside the normal variation we typically see and way outside color of other 90% of the job. Totally understand it is a natural product, not our first project over last 20 years of construction! They are not helping , so having to order some wood to finish from somewhere else. Seal and Heidi Klum looked beautiful together, but Black wood next to light not so pretty.

First order First order, found an interesting piece of exotic lumber via their Instagram post. It was still available online. Company shipped it quickly and efficiently. Item arrived from CA to FL within 2 working days and it looks even better than the posted pictures. Can't wait to work with it and come back to order something else. Thanks, Advantage Lumber! Helpful Staff We ordered teak T&G decking from Advantage Lumber for our new-construction front and rear porches. The porches look great, but we ran short on material and had to contact AL for a few additional boards. The sales team was really helpful in putting together a small order to finish the job. A quality product and helpful staff, I'll be back for deck materials.
