We are very happy with the Sigma Home… We are very happy with the Sigma Home that we now have. However, there were a number of issues that arose once we moved in - snagging - the bulk of which have now been sorted. It would have been better had these basic issues been sorted before we moved in as most of them were to do with either not finishing off properly or not even properly installed. Sigma could save itself a lot of extra work is this was dealt with at the build stage!

They have tackled all the snags but has been down to my elderly parents to spot snags and get them done, often after a lot of feet dragging from Sigma and back and forth. Based on my experience I would avoid buying a home off plan if you can. Maybe Sigma no worse than anyone else but it was very stressful. Positives are location, design and general layout of development which is nice. Workmanship on finish was sadly lacking. Kitchen cheap with moulding on doors already failing. Same experience for most in the development.

The finish on my new Sigma home is…outstanding I am delighted with my new Sigma home; everyone involved in my move could not have been more helpful. As the development is still in build mode, I am supposedly living on a building site but the current building work is screened off and everything is kept as tidy and clean as possible. The site managers and other site staff are very friendly and will do anything to make life easier. The design and build quality of the house are excellent with many little finishing touches and a consistent use of high quality materials. If you’re looking for a new build house then I can thoroughly recommend Sigma.

Build quality poor. Customer service poor I have had a recurring issue with mould in my new build property (as has a neighbour on my development) since purchasing in 2020. Sigma homes have paid lip-service to rectifying the issue, but in general lack expertise to deal with issue. I am now having to make a formal complaint, and am seeking an independent to fix the problem which seems to result from a lack of quality control when laying the roof. On top of this, I have had the front of the property dug up as Sigma incorrectly laid the drains. The customer service team lack insight and are totally unhelpful. In general, I think this is a company that build houses with a top quality finish but fail to pay attention to basic details behind the scenes. My neighbours have had issues with electrics, plumbing, heating as well as basic things like ventilation. Would not recommend purchasing from this builder. Expect better when purchasing from a top-end builder.
