Not a good experience Not a good experience. After going to the showroom to pick out tile, we had an estimator show up who told us this was a quick easy job. When the two installers showed up , we were informed half of the ordered tile was junk, and that the estimated cost was incorrect and they left without doing the job and didn't replace the carpet they had rolled back. A fourth employee showed up after many phone calls to the office and suggested we go with the original tile and a cheaper layout. The job was finally completed after an extended time, and now our credit card is being billed more than the amount on our receipt. This has also required phone calls to try to correct this error. We have now filed a dispute through our credit card company.

Great customer service Great customer service. Worked with Laura in the Clifton Park store and she was absolutely wonderful. Everything flowed so easy from choosing my carpet to the sale and finally the installation. Our installer Bill was very professional and skilled at his trade. He did a fantastic job and would not hesitate to go back there again and recommend to others. Great job Carpet One!!

When we purchased our flooring When we purchased our flooring, we were given a $100 coupon for an area rug. We spent 8k on flooring. When we returned to redeem the coupon for an area rug to protect the new flooring, they refused to honor the $100 coupon; they said we needed to purchase an additional $1000 of carpet in order to use the coupon. Instead they offered us 10% off. Unacceptable. Also, they were the ones who measured for the flooring, they apparently measured incorrectly and we ended up with two extra boxes. They refused to take any back unless we paid a restocking fee claiming that since it was a custom order, no returns were allowed without a restocking fee. What a scam! Of course, they are going to order extra for everyone and make some money on the returns. I will never go there again.

Carpet One Floor & Home, Latham NY The salesperson in the store that we worked with (Laura) was great, but when the installers were ready to finish up, they called us to come by the house they were working in and complete the paperwork. One of the two installers immediately started complaining about the radiators in the three rooms (which if he looked at the plan grid, the radiators were clearly shown) saying that they should have been covered, but it was "too late to stop the job". The overall workmanship was and still is not what we expected from a professional and the same installer (Tom) said "it's adequate for a rental property". Um HELLO TOM, this house is NOT a rental property! I will NOT have these people back for future work.
