We have one problem in 2020 with the cylinder of the membrane cracking at the seal joint. This was replaced IMMEDIATELY by Mike and it was super easy to dismantle and reassemble. The unit has made tons of water since purchase and we could not have been happier. The costs of the unit, of the replacement filters IS not even comparable with other brands. The functionality is great. No fancy electronic remote controls that will drive everybody crazy. Just simple and effective hydraulic and mechanics simple to use and very effective. If I could redo this again, I would buy their DC models, in order to avoid running the generator to make water. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS BRAND to anyone who intends to install a water maker on a sailboat and does not want to deal with problems!!!!

Top Rate Support We made a mistake when installing system. Chatting with Mike at support he identified the problem that was an easy fix. He also helped me through some other confusion I had. It’s really nice to have such excellent support when dealing with this new or new to me technology. It is working fine now. Excellent product. I have 4 fellow boaters with same model and all are very pleased with it.

Customer services leaves much to be desired. Customer services leaves much to be desired. I’ve called twice, both times I received a very short response. Today I texted with a question and this is the response I received verbatim: “What you're missing is that you haven't read the manual, I'm really not here to read it for you.” BTW, I’ve read the manual, looks great and has great information for installation, but has minimal info for operating the equipment and none for the info I needed. Life is too short to deal with arrogant vendors like this.

I just bought two 40gph water makers… I just bought two 40gph water makers for my new to me 58’ LRC Hatteras. Installation is under way, however Last year I installed one 40 GPH sea water pro in my 53’ yacht and it made great tasting water, worked every day. I was able to travel for 6 months without worrying about water. We did laundry, showers, boat washing, and ran the dishwasher every day!!! Last good point..Mike is a customer service pro…if you have any problems, issues, or questions he will answer them in person over the phone…brilliant!
