GBWe bought this first to provide light… We bought this first to provide light in our combined living room/dining room which has no over head lights with added benefit of some plants. It is better than we anticipated. The timer turns it on before we come downstairs to a light filled space with greenery. This has become the answer to garden withdraw I am experiencing in the Colorado cold. No depression that my garden is gone. I get to play with plants and grow food all year long.

GBFabulous start Fabulous start! Quick delivery, easy set up with great instructions, well organized packaging, and now eagerly awaiting seedlings to emerge out of the little pods in the nursery. Couldn't be happier with this family garden so far!

GBGreat company = happy customers! Ordering product is straightforward and easy on the website. Customer service is always quick to respond and helpful. The garden works phenomenally well and has already given me plenty of fresh herbs, fruits, and lettuce. I suppose my only criticism would be that product from the same order often ships seperately and arrives seperately, but I do understand why that's sometimes necessary. There are also fairly frequent out of stocks on the website. But in general, I am very happy being a Rise customer. My garden brings me a lot of joy.

GBGamble, but be prepared to lose. Text of our BBB complaint: After 3 years of researching to find the best home hydroponic growing system, we settled on Rise Gardens. They have a very active social media presence and a flashy website announcing a big 20% off sale almost constantly. While navigating their website, we accidentally hit submit on an order for a smaller garden than intended. Customer service was contacted IMMEDIATELY and the order was noted as cancelled. We then submitted the correct order. Nothing whatsoever is indicated about backorders or unavailability, and the social media ads remain relentless as if this thing is available. Soon after, we receive a shipment of the items from that first, officially cancelled order. A simple mistake- we are reasonable- but then began our issues. It took over a week to get a return label for that item. There is NO phone number to call (an internet search eventually yields a number that goes direct to voicemail) and what seems like foreign customer service (chat-based) could not seem to get us a return label without days of us hassling them. Finally we got a label and Fed Ex picked up the incorrect order. Since then we have been waiting for our actual order with no communication about it unless we pester the chat customer service...our order was placed on 2/19, again with NO MENTION of a delay or a backorder. As reasonable people, we are understanding about anything as long as there is communication. We've been told "in a week or two" a couple times...meanwhile they have our money- around $1500. This is clearly an issue for other customers as there have been some quite hearty discussions going on in the Rise Gardens Facebook community within the past week about this. People are all having the same issue as us- waiting for paid orders for months and having little to no communication. We feel fleeced. It's not the delay, it's that the company has said NOTHING publicly about delays after appearing to have plenty of stock. This is shady at best, fraudulent at worst. Unacceptable. They are deleting Instagram comments about this issue, btw. What a complete and total disappointment. Finally got most of our refund- will be giving our business to Gardyn instead. This does not bode well for company longevity, getting parts, etc.

GBYour website is very difficult to use! Your website is very difficult to use and navigate. I was unable to edit my order on a phone or iPad. When I finally tried with my laptop, it was sheer luck that I was able to figure it out on the third try. There is nothing more frustrating than clicking on the “EDIT”button, and nothing happens. Furthermore, for this and other reasons, I am considering cancelling my membership, but there seems to be no way to do so.
